I used the stock CB750 but you can also use the one from the R6 front end if you have it

Well rough number for us is bike. 2300 R6 frontend. 800 Classified Moto airfilters 450 Classified upper tree and conversion 800 Seat 250 Misc bars to jet kits ....steel etc figure another 400 Shocks 75 Tires 180 New tank w /2 petcocks 400 I'm sure I'm missing some stuff and there's way to do it cheaper...we're about 6000 into it ....got to say the bike is alot of fun to ride.

Thank you ....I looked all over, I wasn't able to find anything like that and I just made one, the only thing that I purchased was the air filters and the upper triple tree to the forks I got those from classified Moto, they were the one that built the motorcycle. I actually purchased the mesh steel from home Depot and then just cut it to fit made the trim pieces that go around it, and then use some oversized washers for the holes that the cables come thru, hope that helps you let me know if you need any other help or have any other questions...

@@jbsprojects8186 Thanks for replying to my question, so many ppl on here don't. Your suggestions have definitely helped me decide what I'm gonna do with it. Been looking at perforated mesh metal on Amazon, but I'll probably go to home depot so I can actually see what it looks like before I buy it. And see if I can get the metal edges there too. Not sure if I'll have to do any welding. Luckily my son is a welder lol. I been trying to get him to build a bike with me, I do the engine and mechanics, and he does the fsb work. After I get past Christmas I'm gonna start making that for my bike. I'll let you know it turns out. Thanks again for the advice. Hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas. ✌

@@jbsprojects8186 I do have another question now that I've been thinking about it. You said you bought a triple tree from classified moto, did you attach the mesh piece to the Triple tree? Cause I'm not sure how I'm gonna be able to attach it. And I guess you had to buy one for a Yamaha right? That is a Yamaha front end correct? I'm not changing my front end, was gonna look and see if they had any that would work for what I need, but their store is currently closed down. On the lower end I can't attach it to my fender since it's a plastic dirt bike fender lol. Sorry for all the questions, I'm sure you've got better things to do than give advice to a Strange on RU-vid lol. But I do appreciate it.

No problem ....I don't mind the questions...yes I made two brackets that attached to the top of the triple tree. Yes I used a R6 front end and you have to get a new fork stem pressed into the R6 lower ...if you go to classified Moto click on Daryl's bike and what I did was took screen shots of the whole bike...or let me know your email address and I will send you some close up of my son inlaws bike...I'm replacing the regulator so it's at my house right now...just let me know I don't mind helping ...

@@jbsprojects8186 That would be great. I'll send you some pics too of what I'm working with. It's a pile though lol. I was gonna make a cafe racer out of it, but when I rode it, it was so much fun I couldn't bring myself to change it. Still looking for another to make a full on cafe bike. Mine had the original bracket between the forks that I'm gonna have to remove. I've got dual headlights on it now, but they are terrible, gonna change it to a single when I put that mesh in. They were cheepees from eBay paid 5$ there just listed as round bar end mirrors...sorry thats all they say on the ad, closest thing I could find to the original walking dead bike

I chose these ones because they seemed to be the closest to the ones that were built on The walking Dead bike that I could find at the time. They mount into the levers in the stock locations ...I got lucky lol.... They're very small I ended up putting two... I think they look great but they're very minimal of what you're going to see , I think it's a 2" round mirror so you really have to have them placed right to be able to see behind you really well. For the riding that we do on the bike it's fine think if I was riding in the city I would want a little bit bigger of a mirror...hope that helps
