I haven't even watched this show anymore for over a year at this point, but I'm still crying my eyes out, when I watch reaction videos to this episode. That just goes to show, how brilliant this scene was!

@@courtneythomas9942 honestly, I still dislike Henry. Only reason his death his sad is because of Carol, which her reaction is one of the most heart breaking moments in the show

@WillFanofMany In fact I just watched a video about the final walking dead comic. So now who is going to be that person at the end? The person that was supposed to be a Carl in his thirties married to Sophia.

Yea, the show killed all hope once they killed Henry. After this it just kind of drags on :/

It's pretty disappointing that they never gave Alana Masterson more to do on the show. Tara was always treated as one of those "lesser" characters , but she was always rock solid.

@@gnomesaiyan1680 I agree. Tara had so much potential and it's a shame the writers never gave her the screen time she deserved. She was the most selfless character on the show and she brought some comedic relief too. She deserved better

Enid, so sad knowing she got better after losing her parents and Carl, she thrived. And then Tara. omg, my dear Tara, for me she was one of the core in the family.

ZombieMom73 Henry’s death was kinda foreshadowed when Lydia told Henry when they first met that she hoped that Daryl and the others never met her mom and Henry told her that the whisperers would be sorry if they met Carol.

I agree, that scene at the end is just fan-freaking -tastic. I have been wrong in the past, commenting that Carol reacted pretty poorly to this, but now I see, given her backstory, after all she has been through, all the torment she's taken, I think the actress played it perfectly, so that you can see, how her tormented soul can still slowly but deeply mourn on top of everything that's been in the past. One tiny little complaint I still have though: The actress who plays Alpha! I'm sorry, but I don't like her. I see, that she's always giving it her all, it just leads to the fact that she's overacting like literally ALL the time. Very disappointed in her. And her accent.... Alpha's supposed to be threatening, not to make me laugh every 1 or 2 sentences....

He still was nuts, Alpha and Negan were just smarter at controlling their impulses

the Governor was worse than Negan.

And she also watched Carl grow up and was always in his group, so 5th.

Actually that’s her 4th

4th child. After Sophia, there were 2 little girls. I forgot what their names were but one of them was a confused psycho and she killed her own sister to prove something. Carol then killed her after.

@@deg1studios And things would get boring for our beloved characters. Alpha needs to stick around for SE10 and then of course Carol can kill her in 10x16.

No the show becomes too slow pace when theres too many groups. Looks at season 7, there were like 5 groups and it was too split up

Plus killing Ozzy off made the pike line up more upsetting

He was the best new character. Killed him off WAY too soon

Rick going was a blessing in disguise imo, the show was increasingly becoming more and more like a game of thrones kind of show, and having one person that centric to most of the plot harms the show no matter how good that character is. Splitting it between 2/3 characters is the best way to go.

@@ghingiferry7526As much as I like Rick, I kind of agree. There doesn't seem to be a "main character" anymore, not even Daryl, Michonne, or Carol seem like the "main character". Every Time Rick was on screen, you knew he was the main character even with the other story arcs.

Gonna miss her alot.

For me he's the worst part of the episode. He's such a bad actor. He legit looks right at the camera after the Enid reveal. Takes me right out of what should be such an emotional scene.

@@azmodayus3712 I know. I personally, really liked him... Little Henry suffered so much, so I was surprised that teen Henry was such a nice person, naive yes, but a caring person. Besides another dead kid in Carol's list

Killing him was a huge mistake. Show became far less interesting after this
