My guess is Jadis just had a deal with the CRM to trade people for supplies, kind of like how the Perimeter has their own deal with the CRM. I’m sure there are other groups out there that have an accordance with them too. I don’t think she was always part of the CRM simply because she could’ve requested pickup right after the war. Instead she stayed another 1-2 years in Alexandria.
The way the world beyond is playing it is as if she wasn’t. But she had to be somewhat affiliated with them. They had a heli-pad at the junkyard, she had plush accommodations, and she was regularly communicating with them AND knew how to label “test subjects” A/B.
The Junkyard, Terminus and Alexandra were all outposts of the CRM. The A's were in all of these sites, in fact Rick was labeled with A's in all of them. Jadis put an A on the container she held him in, an A was on the train car in Terminus and Rick was stamped with an A at Alexandria. Deanna said she was brought there by the military(CRM). Remember they had TONS of food and it wasn't from scavenging because they were BAD at it. Deanna told Rick on the first day that they had killed three people... in fact Aaron mentioned it before they reached Alexandria that they had killed people... The biggest irony is that RICK WAS RIGHT all along. Aaron was looking for people to sacrifice and in return they got supplies. That HUGE TRUCK filled with provisions was meant for Alexandria... it had the pasta maker the lady was complaining about, it had the same brand of toothpaste Michonne found in Alexandria, tons of bullets (remember Carol said they had plenty of guns but very few bullets), and blankets for the new recruits. Deanna was going to trade Rick, Michonne and Daryl that is why she did not give them jobs at first. Then she changed her mind... and then there was a shortage of food and rationing. Remember the red and green balloons... that is how they communicated. We now know that the CRM purposely creates massive swarms of Walkers... remember that swarm near Alexandria and how "somebody" positioned trucks to keep them in the quarry... I think that was the CRM. Lastly, at the Junkyard, I think Jadis purposely ground up her crew that turned because she did not want them to be experimented on by CRM. She could have easily called the CRM to come get her as she had many A's to give them... instead she destroyed them... but shortly after she was willing to give them Negan. This shows that being an "A" for Jadis is a fate worse than death this is why she saved Rick. When Gabriel turned on her she changed him from a B to an A. The hints in Terminus is that they were "Reporting" to someone. Remember they were counting the bullet shells and the crazy guy was waiting to be turned over. What I think is really happening with these outpost is that they can "govern" anyway they want as long as they handover A's and B's to the CRM. Also, they keep an eye on the outpost CRM knew that Jadis's people were gone and I believe CRM was already planning a retaliation against Alexandria, it is just that Rick happened upon the swarm before. My question is how does Negan and the Saviors fit into the CRM??? They were too big to not be noticed by the CRM.
@@martinkoncan7946 This was at the very start of the outbreak. I think Alexandria was one of the first outposts. You have to question why they were never attacked even though they barely had any defences. Once Deanna saw that Rick could defend them she let go of the CRM. Also, remember her last meeting with Michonne, giving her plans for a future... and rebuilding society, why didn't she do that earlier? Civilisation building is obviously not in the plans of the CRM.
Maybe Jadis had a deal with the CRM. Maybe she knew about this Project that Elizabeth Kublik started with reanimation times. That would explain why Jadis wanted Negan and Gabrial get bit
Definitely, she already knew the CRM pickup lingo and process so she was at least working with them before we met her in the junkyard. How early she connected with them is yet to be determined but I’m inclined to believe that she found out about them a long time ago and had been already trying to work her way in for a while.
I guess it's possible she was.....either way she's such an interesting character. Looking forward to learning more about her! Thanx again James from Nashville!😊
Good idea as to why they chose the junkyard Think of all the stuff there… if someone came to rob you.. how on earth are they going to strip you of all you have that’s valuable if they haven’t even found it yet? You could in theory get robbed by the saviours then go back to digging in the trash for goodies one man’s trash is another man’s treasure as they say, it’s an endless supply of material
I have a different theory honestly. I think Jadis came across the CRM very very early in the apocalypse, most likely when the CRM where starting to gather test subjects. The CRM proposed to Jadis that she would have a place in their community if she proved valuable to the cause. I think she was the only one who had a deal with the CRM, because of operational security. If her entire community knew about the deal and the CRM, it would be to many people who could expose their existence. Also if you notice every scene Jadis is doing something CRM related it is always alone, and never with anyone else present, except for the people she offers up to the CRM. She hid resources all over the place from her own people. Also, the best cover she could have to keeping Negans people or scabs hers/survivors from stealing the solar panels or hang around the junk yard looking for supplies or a way to defend themselves from hordes is to make your own community of nitwits that just think Jadis is their leader and keeps them safe and is like any other survivor. Last but not least, I think the reason why Jadis labeled Rick as a B at the last second instead of an A is because she was attracted to him and possibly even cared for him in a more then friends kind of way. She sorta tries to claim Rick when they make a “truce” about wanting to sleep with him after they win the war against negan, also I think there is a reason she painted him naked. She was secretly wanting him, which is interesting because If you label Rick as a B that means she could leave with Rick and they would be thousands of miles away from his family/lover. I think Rick rejects her when he finds out the truth and tries to escape, then anne turns back to Jadis and calls herself warrant officer stokes. Anne Is not just her real name, but also a Jekyll and Hyde kind of identity, when her people where killed, and she had nowhere to turn once she thought the helicopter wasn’t coming back after negan she thought the CRM thought she was compromised, and she tried to fit in with ricks community but failed in her attempts. When Rick rejects her I think the Hyde part comes out again and she turns back to Jadis aka officer stokes. (It’s important when she has that drink with buck when she says “my name wasn’t always Jadis” like she changed her name once and that’s it, she never mentioned she tried to change back to anne and then became Jadis again when she joined the CRM) also, last but not least, I have a theory that the way Jadis met the CRM is not possibly by accident. In a state of emergency when everything falls apart and the government uses a series of emergency plans to rebuild society one piece at a time they recruit people with government jobs. Specifically the postal service and a few other agencies. Schools and teachers are government agency jobs in their own rights. If the CRM is connected to what’s left of the government, maybe they recruited her before the world even fell apart.
I think Jadis wasn’t originally with CRM but made contact with them real early on. I bet she had really good relations with them too. I think CRM provided the new looking shipping containers and the helipad. Also they probably chose to set up in a dump because nobody would think to scavenge it and nobody else would want to live there so they likely wouldn’t be attacked as much as a place like Alexandria.
After watching episode 6, I think that she was probably recruited - the whole trash people storyline is a realy good position to observe oher communities...etc. However, I think that she's going to change her stance on everything and rebel against the CRM hardliners. They did give her that god awful haircut and I would be mad about that too ;-)). Thanks for your videos!
@@TWDExplained James check out daryldixon video! I guess CRM is using regular dod ranking. Looks like Jadis had to go after Huck a few times and let her slide. I thought Jadis would be good!
Jadis had to know the difference between A's and B's, so she changed Ricks and said she need save a friend. Looking forward to more of her story. I think Jadis was part prior.
After watching episode 6 I think Jadis confirms she was with the CRM and used the scavengers to survive and embolden them. I’m guessing she was punished the same way Huck was
⭐ An " *A* " isn't bitten , it's some one *healthy* . *Barca* wasn't bitten and he's an A " *B* " is a bitten or wounded test subject ... hence *Rick* being hurt and was labeled " *B* " She wasn't going to have them *Bitten* be for trade , she had the walker there so they wouldn't try to escape . . . Everyone , Stay Safe 😷 & 💖 Much Love ~ 😈🔺🦋
@@TWDExplained How would he have been bitten , he was take in to custody to until deemed ready to serve again . he wasn't out in the wild near the walkers ( emptys)
Jadis is still a mystery to us... The con artist theory was interesting though 🙄 Btw, Completely unrelated to the vid, I just turned the likes into 100 😅
These large scale communities don’t work unless they have a cure, the logistics to prevent outbreaks in the camps would be ridiculous, if someone died of natural causes at night they could be a small outbreak, or again if someone was murdered. The whole jadis thing doesn’t make sense really? What happened to her in the comics?
in season 1 of the world beyond the campus colony had prison cell type doors with iron bars as a 2nd door at an elderly retirement home, the idea behind that cell door is to prevent the walker from coming out of the room
Jadis wasn't in the comics. This whole CRM thing is something Gimple came up with to tie everything together. It's not working out too well and it played a hand in the destruction of FEAR in season 4 since he didn't want a series that wasn't a part of his "bigger picture".
