The Walking Dead World Beyond - HUGE REVEAL! - Is this why CRM destroyed them? A look at S2 E5 of World Beyond and the scene where Huck is reading a few old papers. Dennis shows up. #TheWalkingDead #TWD #RickGrimes
This was the best episode of World Beyond so far imo. Things are really heating up, can’t wait for next episode! The strongest part of this show is not so much the main characters, but the story around the CRM, and the smaller additions to the lore like with what these newspapers tell us. I have a feeling the ending to this show is going to be explosive, and will lay the groundwork for the Rick Grimes movies.
Makes sense! Remember Leo Bennett's comment at the end of season 1 "I think the civilian government are doing great things. I'm not so sure about the military."
tbh what a great episode to absorb more lore about the foundations of the CR, to even think that they have their own press and 'media' is amazing and opens a whole new level of the playing field. to even remember how great it felt when the communities first got established and we learned that settlements bigger than 20 people could survive was cool, but these guys have the papers, which is even crazier.
in the previous season elizabeth kublek said that the civic republic has a health and welfare system, working water treatment, transportation, education, justice and legal system, radio and even TV, that says a lot and when you think about it they have about 200.000 people living in the republic and with a strong military they could rebuild the world if they chose to
@@warbossgrotsmasha23 i like to think those numbers apply just for the military, because in this episode they were starting to imply a political division between military personnel and government per se. It's just a thought of mine but it would be cool to think that only the military has 200.000 people and the actual CR in a hidden place has a million more souls or something. They do have a monetary system so maybe building a bigger economy would need much more people to account for inflation and demand of products.
@@matheuslima2667 they won't lack resources, in 10 years time nature reclaimed the country so plenty of wood, wildlife, fish and whatnot, all waiting to be exploited for the betterment of the republic :P...the only downside is them pesky undead hordes roaming the countryside
Yea I hope that’ll happen too, just with the world beyond characters and our og group. Hopefully Eugene or Yumiko or someone can convince them to help us because there is no way we would be able to win just by ourselves
Thanks for another great vid, James! I think they're definitely setting it up for a division or civil war within the CR /CRM. Jadis coming in early is cool and she knows Huck, even insists on first name basis, which almost was reminiscent of Huck grooming Hope. It'd be cool if Jadis is a double agent and will work for the good. In a season promo we hear Jadis stating that they have to 'stop the lines or they'll destroy us.' (Something like that.) We know the CRM used lines of walker hordes & explosives to wipe out Omaha and Campus Colony. Kublek's been called out to CR indefinitely and we see Warrant Officer Jadis come in to take her place. If Jadis is a double agent it could go either way. Looks like CRM is trying to destroy Portland? And maybe Jadis referred to stopping those lines? Idk. TWB is getting good!
In the upper right corner of the article, they qoute a farmer speaking on condition of anonymity that the civilians need to take the reigns back from the CRM or something like that. "You can't deny what the CR military has done for this city. We owe our survival to them. But things are under control more than ever before and it feels like the right time for us citizens to take the reigns." Under that: Beale's acknowledgement of the transition of power of his? military has proven to be a ?? political move. His approval ratings are polling at an all time high, with many people citing his leadership? as integral? in the ? ? of the CW."
Major Beale in article about the transition of power. "There are many variables to consider, but when the time comes, i have full faith that we will execute the plan smoothly." Sorry for all the posts here, i thought someone might be able to make some use of some small print transcribed. :)
I didn't notice the text, on the back of the newspaper, until I watched this video. I remember from my late 90's commercial art days, that we called that type of lettering "Greeking" and we used it to mock up layouts before we were given the actual text for the project.
Now we know what is occurring within the internal politics of the Civic Republic. To ensure its own continued autonomy and power the military, whether in whole or in part, is devastating the Alliance of Three to ensure their own relative independence. However is it merely maintain power or to acquire greater power and control.
yes but when the dead come knocking its the military who'll deal with them not some civilian elected official, now it makes perfect sense why they wiped out omaha using the undead, to scare the civilians into accepting the military as their last hope against the undead
James, you just gave me chills... lol seriously what I'm thinking as well. What a tremendously powerful position to have, being over the community's ability to survive. That's certainly something that a totalitarian rule would have issue with, relinquishing their power to just common people... to civilians. Especially when we see how much apathy they seem to have for the citizens of the cities that they oversee. Why not manufacture a little terror to keep the other communities in line? A little well placed uncertainty or terror would facilitate the reliance on the CRM. Impressive theories, especially since I certainly overlooked this particularly intriguingly provocative scene. Its truly revving up to something more like what most of us were waiting for.
If the CRM was the last bastion of humanity left in America then they would use that as proof they're needed as "the last light of the world" thing and they would have their goal but what is Jadis's involvement in this exactly?
well there's the commonwealth and if the usa had these huge settlements who knows what else is out there in the world, maybe there are other large tech advanced settlements in other countries, its highly unlikely the undead wiped out everything out there
Soon as Dennis differentiated politicians and the military I immediately thought of Pamela Milton’s settlement very interesting line, we have yet to see the politicians
Yea I agree and it would be cool if it showed a helicopter flying over Atlanta because that would mean Rick would’ve seen it but we don’t know if it was a CR chopper or not (the one Rick saw)
Hey James in Nashville! Thanks for this GREAT video. I would never have picked up on the "dummy text" on that newspaper. What good eyes you have, again THANKS! A.J. in Birmingham
Setting up for two walking dead movies . Most likely CRM & Commonwealth will be fighting each other for full power of the U.S. Possibly Rick fighting with CRM against commonwealth before he realize survivors from Alexandria are working with Commonwealth group … Final preview you see commonwealth soldiers finding Alexandria that will bring food for the last survivors … I could see some members from Alexandria joining the commonwealth group as soldiers …
@@nickjanslots The Civic Republic has a population of a quarter million people whereas the commonwealth only has a measly 50,000 people by comparison so the CRM army is probably as big as the entire population of the commonwealth add to that that the commonwealth only has horse drawn vehicles whereas the CRM has motor vehicles and even aircraft. Its no contest in a war the CRM squashes the commonwealth like a bug no offense.
@brummyuk There is no reason to wipe out the civilians of the CRM its the military leadership that needs to be dealt with. Hopefully without destroying the infrastructure like their air force which can be a great asset for a new unified.Commonwealth CRM nation. Maybe they will call themselves the Restored United States like in The Postman. But yeah the Commonwealth alongside Rick aiding a revolution against the military leadership of the CRM makes much more sense than a direct conflict in which the Commonwealth just gets stomped.
I think it said execute instead of examine. Like in the newspaper. And plus I feel like it makes a bit more sense, for example “ execute the plan” instead of “examine the plan” because of the circumstances that happened with the campus colony and the other colo ny. I assume what Beale is talking about when he is executing the plan he means wiping out the 2 other colonies so that they have an excuse to urgently delay the civilian oversight like you said. 👍
TWDWB is finally waking up. Jadis and Huck know each other so perhaps Huck knows about Rick. It also makes me wonder if any of them know Althea's pilot girlfriend. Since this is the final season it would make sense to tie all three shows together and set up the Rick movies.
i’m really hoping to see if isabelle knows huck, jadis, or any of the others in the facility. she’s an awesome character and i can’t wait to see her in season 7 of fear.
Unfortunately I am behind one week about this show too this year. Anyway CRM stuff is so interesting, this is episode was really awesome. I would absolutely buy this newspaper.
Why did they show next weeks promo with Jadis before the clip with her at the end. I already knew she was on the show but they ruined it for everyone else who didn't know
When The group moves west do you think they will run into the COMMONWEALTH? Alexa Mansour/Hope on Instagram did say that she wants to crossover to one of the shows. I think Hope, Iris, Silas, Elton, Huck, Felix, Will, and Percy will crossover into S11B or S11C
I think in the show the commonwealth is located in the Charleston West Virginia not ohio like in the comic, so i dont think they will be running into them
@@rain-vo8ib I still think they will because The COMMONWEALTH is not in one big community, it is spread out across the Easteen United States. Gimple did say that CRM and COMMONWEALTH know about each other, plus Angela Kang said we are gonna get introduced by another group that my surprise our characters in a big and emotional way in S11.
⭐ The test subject is former Sargent Major BARCA (se1ep3) He was taken to the CRM health & Welfare Complex , until deemed ready to serve again. Everyone , Stay Safe 😷 & 💖 Much Love ~ 😈🔺🦋
Do you think that the civilian part of the crm the leader could be georgie the one who gave Maggie the book, just think how did crm get so big maybe it was from the same book
@@lel0492 the CRM is kinda the protection for the Civic Republic. Like the U.S Military. But you’re right, Beale is the Leader of the CRM and controls it all, except the Civic Republic, there he’s practically nobody.
Rick won’t be a general. Or else, he would go back to Alexandria under his own matters. A general would be powerful enough to do that, without causing problems.
I couldn't finish the 1st episode of first season...it was just silly POC kids and strong women stereotypes...seriously tired of the POC virtue signaling...enuff already end the show and move on...it's seriously getting old...
