Yes Judy, you’re doing a great job on these segments.

Some of my favorite “Erin” episodes were 1) where John Boy takes her to get her portrait taken, 2) she takes a job at the business school to get John Boy the typewriter and 3) when she dresses up as a southern belle to get promotion with JD.

I love The Waltons. I watch it everyday. I love Mary Ellen's character who wasn't scared of no one and Erin who would stand up to JD.

I'm watching the series for the first time since original airing. 1972 and up. WOW...blown away ya'll!! I'm 62 yrs old. It is really amazing and boy do I miss the 1970s!!!

I love Mary's laugh! That giggle and Mary's real life mannerisms made Erins character x

This was such a wonderful interview. You seem like actual sisters. I love the fact that you have remained friends after all these years. This interview and the ones with Kami and others involved in the series are my favorites.

Dear Ms. Norton and Ms. McDonough. The two of you are still delivering pure magic to your fans. Ms. Cotler as well. All these years later it remains such a treat just to listen in as you share these stories and precious memories. I for one remain truly grateful. And we your fans agree...the chemistry between Jonathan Frakes and you Mary was off the charts palpable. I remember him having tremendous chemistry with Mary Jackson (Emily Baldwin) as well. A true indication of the talent of the man, of the entire cast and the casting department of The Waltons. All to be applauded. Which I am doing now!

That’s was fun to watch. It felt like I could have sat down to coffee with you two and listened to talk for a while this morning. Just a great sense of easy conversation there. Thank you both!

A big thank you for having Mary on the show. Looking forward to seeing her again. Everyone in my family was one of the Waltons in real life. I was Erin, so I relate to her character. The insecurity of not know what to do after graduation. Getting a job on the phone and eventually in a office. Even Erins love life was the same. Finding guys to date but getting a broken heart every time. Glad in real life Mary did find love. Same with you Judy. Keep up the good work.

I'd love to see a trifacta video of all 3 Walton girls in one interview. That would be awesome!

When Erin/Mary and Paul Northridge filmed, it could have been a Breck Shampoo commercial; both have such gorgeous hair! 😊 I hope Mary will talk about her book writing career, too! Mary was very convincing in the scenes following the loss of GW who was always so kind and sincere. 🧡

Great segment!! As if we didn't already know, this nice personal "chat" illustrates why we, the audience, all grew to love all of the Waltons and the program in general. While the Walton characters were acting out fictional stories, all of the actors were REAL hard working, kind, feeling, and real people that were so easy to "bond" with. Mary speaks here to the difficulty of growing up being a "famous" person. One might conclude that "social media" has brought all of us to that place. Kinda tough sometimes!! Thank you all for being "who you are" all these years later. Miss the growing number who are no longer with us!!!

I loved seeing Mary today. She seems light hearted and sincere. A refreshing and authentic interview she gave. She was wonderful as Erin Walton. I agree with her in that I always wished the writers had waited and had Erin marry Ashley Longworth Jr. 'The Waltons' airs daily at noon on MeTV so I tune in every day and I enjoy every episode. So good to see Mary today.

I read Mary's autobiography and enjoyed it very much. It was very insightful. So many people think that when you achieve success as an actor that your life is perfect when the fact is that we're all human and still have the same problems. I am glad that she was brave enough to share her true experiences and hope that her health is far better now.

It was green seeing Erin, ( Mary ), I always loved the stories with Erin’s love interests. I especially liked Ashley, Johnathan Frakes. He was so handsome with those beautiful blue eyes. It was nice to see Judy and Mary together laughing and joking and reminiscing!! Like best friends or sisters. Thank you for the happy moments and memories!!❤️

That was so nice to see Mary again, she looks great and still has that sweet fun personality she had on The Waltons. When you were talking about how dating actors can be problematic especially if you're more successful it brought to mind Lee Majors and Farrah Fawcett. Lee wanted a wife who would have dinner ready for him when he came home from the studio but when she got Charlies Angels and became one of the most successful actresses of the 70s he didn't like it and they ended up divorcing so you probably made the right decision.

Super great to see Mary/Erin, Judy/Mary Ellen. I know Mary just had a Birthday so Happy Birthday. 29th? I believe? Thanks again Judy for reuniting us with the people we saw on TV every week when we were kids.

Great Interview. Every article I have read or seen says Jonathon Frakes was an absolute joy to work with and now he is a very in-demand director. I feel he and Mary had the best chemistry IMHO.

I remember reading that the success of The Waltons was how well you all jelled together. No one tried to out act one another unlike todays actors. You made us all feel that you were a real family with its highs and lows. The laughter and the tears you gave us over so many years and I might add you still do. A series you can return to again and again with new eyes thanks to your behind the scenes programmes. It’s so great to see you all again all grown up as they say. Sending all of you my best wishes and grateful thanks for giving, at least me, some wonderful memories growing up with The Waltons.

That was so awesome seeing you both chatting. I have always loved watching the waltons. I actually have been watching it everyday now.. when I come home from work at 500 pm and that's my 1 hour of family time.. it just makes me feel so good knowing that this once existed. Family values. . Togetherness. . Love. We are living such troubled tomes today in 2022... what a huge difference. Times were so simpler back then and so content.. The Waltons was my dream family. That was delightful. What a palate cleanser. Jon Frakes is an affable fellow. I have to say my favorite was Erin with Michael O'Keefe, an excellent actor. That scene in the pond is as romantic as anything in one of the great romantic movies and very sweet. And Mary with her red hair, esp. pinned up in some 30s-40s style, always reminded me of lovely Maureen O'Hara.

This was so much fun listening to you and Mary talk about the different love interests on the show. I imagine it would be nerve wracking to have to kiss on camera in front of a group of people. Mary mentioned that an airplane was flying overhead as the interview started. That made me wonder, were there times that the filming of a scene on The Waltons had to be stopped because a modern day airplane was flying overhead which would not have been around back during that time period? Or did they have a way to block modern day sounds from the final cut of the show? Judy, thanks so much for sharing this video and thank you to Mary, too. I enjoyed it very much.

Sisters "dishing" about "boys!" How fun! And like Kami's interview I watched yesterday - Mary's smile - instantly recognizable as "Erin!" My own sister visited me a few weeks ago and we dished a bit 😍 - and like Kami, I am so glad you two are still friends and can talk like this even so many years after the show!

I'm glad to see Mary and she looks great! looks like Texas agrees with her. I have said prayers for her as I hears she had some health issues in the past. Thank you once again for bringing these updates on the cast. I've said in the past that there is no other show quite like the Waltons. you helped create it and we out here experienced it. No finer show was ever produced in my opinion.

I just got through watching a mini marathon of The Waltons. The Ring, The Theft, The Graduation, Chicken Thief, Love Story, and The Car. I so loved all of the stories. I watch them every time they put them on. Thank you and God Bless you, for all the memories.

I never realized that Michael O'Keefe was nominated for an Oscar for the Great Santini. I had always equated him with his Caddyshack role. I was rooting for John Guilgood that year because they filmed a scene at a racetrack from Arthur in my hometown of Danbury CT. It's too bad that the racetrack and the property that once held our State Fair had been sold and turned into a shopping mall not long after those scenes were filmed. Now the mall had seen better days. Time marches on!
