24 Hour Restock for you hungry hippos : www.majorkill.shop/ Maybe if Ra had some Majorkill Merch, he wouldn't have had to get stabbed with a mega Daemon and then run into a otherworldly labyrinthine Probably not, but maybe
I would get some merch but I'm still waiting for your video on T'au ethereal Aun Shi because he smacks Ork arse like my parents when I was a bit naughty 😅
You idiot. The 10,000 was the lowest number of enemy soldiers there was the main force in reality and common sense when what went into each male/female warrior. We are talking about days of fighting against the near full strength of immortal demons and war engines…there are millions dying as the hours go on non stop swinging your blade or do they have unlimited ammo?.there is always a vanguard especially a berserk charging army . There was a planet wide scale of weapons and soldiers that went into the most important battle in human history that the emperor himself and the…10’000 custodes…10 custodes that could kill a primarch…do the math….he had to bring near all of them and back up….we are talking a trillion lives that were altered through training, faith or genetic make up and war machines that went to battle in the webway…a place that we needed to claim at some point in time..through the webway project or through the force or arms . Proof the writers don’t know anything about war or the battlefield or the things that are going to happen when fighting non stop like zombies. Or warhammer is a political movement trying to shape human society…who knows…..maybe both and then some….praise the emperor and all he does
The custodes went against supercharged chaos daemons in basically the warp where they can outnumber the tyrannids and endlessly respawn, thousands of traitor marines, titans, greater daemons AND one of the most powerful daemons ever seen able to kill the emperor himself. They were winning at the beginning. Custodes are fucking bonkers
An army of 10k including the telemon dreadnought and the sisters of silence nerfing the demons it makes sense coming out the gate they could slow the tide. Never winning a war of attrition with Hell inside of Hell. That's just not happening 😢
The Big E really should have made a deal with the Eldar. You help me with this and not only will it really weaken Chaos, but _I will help you_ take on Slaneesh.
As always with the Emperor, it'd be cool to know more, and chances are he was thinking something along the lines of "I'll sort that out later when I have more time"
Put a pin in that. I feel like GW has left a lot of really solid ideas like this one open just in case they really need to shakeup the galaxy or just in case they ever decide to go end times mode on the setting because stuff like that would make an amazing plot point. Much the same way the Necrons just so happen to believe they can make themselves mortal again, so they would align with the factions that don't want everything to be ruined, those sort of things just leave the door open just in case the end times ever need come for 40k.
The War in the Webway is some of my favorite Warhammer lore ever. I love how it was this massive war that determined the fate of humanity even more than the Heresy, and yet nobody outside a trusted few in the whole Imperium even knew about it.
Yeah, I always assumed it was just one part of the Siege of Terra, never thought of it as a years-long campaign, though I guess since Magnus made the breach to warn the Emperor of Horus' betrayal it would have to be long before the Siege.
I appreciate how majorkill takes every possible opportunity to work "in a sunless realm the sun rose" into his scripts. Real "say the line bart" moment everytime.
Custodes really aren't invincible. They can decimate any mortal army. But that's the thing, mortal armies, Daemons are not mortal and Custodes just can't handle them on their turf. But it was a badass moment, if a catastrophic defeat for our glorious golden Pillar Men.
Its also a really weird place, in the webway the dimensions dont make sense and space folds and retracts, its the like fighting in a liminal space against ghosts
Kinda underselling the Custodes here. They can handle Daemons perfectly fine. Even on their own turf. Its about sheer numbers. Every custodes who died probably had a kill/death ration that would make a nuclear bomb jealous. But there is simply basically infinite daemons.
Custodes can handle warp spawn just fine like any other warrior. Even I would not doubt the idea of a custodes falling to a tsunami of daemons and daemonic slaves.
Reading through the book, Custodes were killing a LOT of daemons and traitors. It was just the sheer endless numbers of their enemy that made them lose.
Hey MajorKill, long time watcher! Just wanted to say I've slowly become a Warhammer 40k fanatic from watching your videos. I tune into your videos constantly when I'm doing things like washing the dishes and other chores. Your videos are a great source of joy and it's been great watching the channel grow over the past couple of years. Keep it up you beautiful fucker!
@@DarkSamael55 Yeah, GW keep telling in vague term in many books that all Eldar needs were covered by those super Wraith-bone robotos but almost 0 contextual lore actually exists.
This book is easily one of my absolute favorite warhammer books ever written. And Ra is easily one of the most well written and lovable and respectable characters ive ever seen. You feel like you should salute that man thru the entire book. Almost has you in tears in the end
Oh wow another banger. When listening to this I felt joy, sadness and anger. I never thought a Majorkill video would make me feel so many emotions. Thanks for this video you funny Australian man
Could you do more videos about facts from the Unification Wars? I love reading about how Old Terra was, and all the interesting factions that existed and were eventually destroyed or united with the Emperor. Learning about the original, proto-legions (such as the Old Hundred), the Thunder Warriors, and the various forces incorporated from defeated regions.
Getting a video about how each of the Pre heresy primarchs would have reacted to being in Guillimans situation as imperial regent would be pretty cool ngl
A catch up with old Ra Endymion at some point would be awesome. hes been running around the warp solo while fighting an eternal 1v1 with possibly the most powerful warp entity beside a chaos god inside him
One of my favorite warhammer moments. Rivaled only by rylanor, and sanguinious at the eternity gate. Gotta love those heroic last stands against impossible odds. I've noticed in warhammer they actually tend to have a happier ending than in real life. The istvaan atrocity ended with rylanor calling fulgrim a bitch before blowing him up, and sanguinious at the eternity gate knew he was gonna die. But took pretty much every enemy with him.
The emperor ,, anyone worshipping me is stupid, i am not a god, it is illegal" Also the Emperor: becomes radiant sun in the darkness of hell, demons die by gazing upon him, spreads torrents of holy fire and summons his dead demigod son to lead the army of the dead
Getting a video about how each pre heresy primarch would have reacted to being in Guillimans position as imperial regent would be cool for a new vid, plz
Ok here me out, sacrifice 10x as many pyckers to give the Emperor enough time, with him leading the charge they could of been pushed back with in a day.
a Custodes coming to your battlefield would actually be quite good, assuming you have some way of killing them when they get there. That way you can trick the Imperium into thinking they've won, and since you killed a Custodes you could mop the floor with the rest of the armada and the fact it was written as a victory means they're unlikely to send reinforcements. But of course, the only problem is killing the Custodes in the first place. Just hope you're the Tau and you've loaded up on Railguns
But the thing is, you don't "kill" daemons, you banish them. Every daemon killed by a custodian will simply reconstitute itself eventually and breach into Realspace again when a Word Bearer molests his 666th child or something.
@@apossiblyhereticalalphaleg3595 that is true I mabey should have worked that better but 1. Emperor. 2. They still took those deamons out of the fight for a thousand years and crippled countless other chaos forces such as astartes and titans. Also this isn't a point but why weren't any of the spacewolves, blood angles (I know one was but that don't count), white scars, and imperial fists join the fight that would have been a massive bonus aswell.
the ender of empires effortlessly wipes a knight, severely damages a custode dreadnought legend, rhen get trolled by a single blood angel. i fucking love space marines.
It's always fun to speculate what would happen if those Custodians were present at the battle for the imperial palace or possibly on the hunt for chaos champions like Abbadon during that time.
Wh40k is the most interesting sci fi story i've seen and i've seen a lot and there is no movies and shit, like this could be way greater than star wars
Speaking of Custodes, it would be great to see you do a video about self image of major factions going from most arrogant to lowest self esteem. And also your opinion on those self image perspectives
King in Yellow preparing fornthe round 2. My bet is that his absolutely massive army of psychers and blanks and other exotic stuff is preparing to storm the webway and to shut the breach.
Remember, If Custode completely failed on the War Within Webway, Entire Terra will exploded into literal warp storm which is Age of Strife 2.0 : But far more apocalypse then ever
I mean if the webway could be breached so easily by a powerful psycher just trying to send a long-distance message maybe it wasn't such a safe haven to begin with.
I will never forget the thought they list and they lost HARD but literally no army besides the war in heaven armies can ever come close to match what they did in the webway its not even close and i love that also that rylonor shirt is dope
