Having used different dice (i.e., D4, D6, D8, D10 and D12) with other war-games rules (e.g., Field of Battle), I recommend different colours for the different types of dice (e.g., D6 = red, D8 = blue, D10 = yellow, D12 = black). I thought it would be a good idea to have two sets of dice, with each set in its own colour, so that each player could have their own coloured set. However, when playing, whilst the D6 was easy to identify quickly, when it came to using the other dice, sometimes the wrong type of dice was picked up and incorrectly used.

A period I’m only familiar with from “Versailles”. I never end up painting the miniatures so multi basing doesn’t work for me. But the minis look lovely. Are they the Copplestone ones?
