@@Robin_Coffins Nah, I can understand that. There is something special about the feeling of having done every new quest whenever new content comes out.
Thank you, Kelani. Great video! I will go smooth and slow leveling, and exploring the world of new expansion. Don’t want to rush, don’t want to miss anything. Everything looks so much fun and exciting. I hope all of you will enjoy your way of leveling and playing “The War Within” ❤
that was actualy a good tip for the side quest to divide it per character/alt. I have the habbit to compleet all quest with my main and get them off my map xD
Pretty sure all those map exclamations can be filtered with the base map UI. I normally did them on a main too, but now that loremaster will be fully shared it'll be easy to have each alt scrub a zone then do BGs/gathering the rest of the way.
Thank you for all your hard work in bringing us this information. I always take the scenic route on my first character of an expansion, but these tips are still extremely useful. Thanks again.
im going to clear the board so all that will be left is the repeatable and the weeklies or dailies to do.. and the delves Im going for the delve meta achievement. and the lore achievemnt also. so happy im not forced to raid or mythic plsu anymore so happy
'Twas the night before early access and all through the realm... I go to RU-vid to see what Kelani tells me how to level quicker. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing
@@slickftw honestly it doesnt matter what the Gear scales to when we're at the Pre-Season, we are probably gonna be capped at 550 or something until week 3.
You wont. You will play it few times then you will realize that everything you do is completly worthless as in weeks weeks everything you have done will be wiped out.
pro tip. Just enjoy the game. you are paying an arm and a leg for this expansion. don't rush it. Only reason to rush to 80 is if you are playing competitively.
Thank you so much for this videao, I'm really happy that there is no crazy stuff like I used to think, pretty simple, follow quests etc and there you go max level + the % you get from the achievment is crazy, up to 25% lmao what. Anyway great video as always Kelani !
FYI the reason the glyphs show up in the new zones is so new players who didnt play Dragonflight can level up their Dragonriding trees. I don't think new players will just automatically have full trees. I remember in the first day of DF, I went straight for the glyphs as soon as I could Dragonride so everything else would be easier.
@randomusr12345 I think the difficulty of them is really low. Mobs are tuned low anyway. It kinda just felt like you're soloing stuff with a bunch of pets to me 🤣 if you're tank / healer you should probably just do normal dungeons as I think they give better loot / xp. But when I'm on my dps and I get a quest as part of the campaign I'm just gonna insta queue into a follower dungeon and get it done.
I always appreciate your videos and most the time forget to like or whatnot so figured id try and help the algorith this time around! Thanks for the content
I've seen a recent Dev interview and they explained their reasoning the S1 campaign in TWW doesn't take you to level 80 in xp is because of player feedback. Players felt the campaign was too long and the player rewards locked behind time gates. so Blizz decided change that. I think it's a great change, it's a middle ground.
The way I level is to have one character assigned to 1 zone and complete every single quest there. It should fill about 7 levels, with bit of instances and gathering professions, can surely hit max level without moving to next zone. I get to fully enjoy each zone without having to feel bored.
100%! Even if they don’t give rep some of those side quests have some of the best stories in the game. On top of that, doing only the campaign quests will only get you to about level 75 so you’ll have to mix in some other content to hit level cap anyway
@@spacewalker806 Oh hell no ty, I Played SOD. I'm just saying 7-8 hrs too fast, maybe at least a total of 24hrs. What's the rush? The Raid isn't coming out for another 2 weeks.
You're right about the main story line taking you only to lvl 78. At 78 I had to focus on doing side missions to level up to 80. In my opinion, the missions on Khaz Algar are more fun than on Dragon Isles.
1st. My DH as Veng. since my gear is 500+ilvl. In beta I did a full zone @side quests in Dorn and Ringing Deeps, was 78 starting Hallowfall. Using Mining and Herb gathering for EXP. boost. Just over 7 hours to 80.
Earthen Allied Race quests are available before the campaign complete - they are clearly marked in the quest text, so you'll know when you find them... but they are side quest type quests, appearing as a plain !. The achievement that actually unlocks them cannot be completed at the moment, as far as I can tell.
i will be doing the Campaign ASAP to skip my Alts to Dornagal right away and immediately do WQs, then after that i'll do all the Sidequests as my Alts start working on leveling their Professions, so they can get ready to start crafting Blues. then as i level each of my toons to 80 i will make sure that my main gets Delves to Level 3.
I do try to take my time leveling, kinda pretending it's a solo RPG for a bit. Also I don't fly unless I have to. I don't even mount most of the time. Lets me take a minute to look around and appreciate the artwork, ambiance, and little surprises! Not so long until I'm sick of the same areas, so drink it in!
I would not suggest what he says i lvld on beta two times to 80 and u want to do main and side quest i would do all side quests each zone why u ask? If ur 78 and go back to first zone u dont get much xp anymore and side quests give good reputation that u will need at end game. So when ur 80 u can buy epick renown gear some il higher then hc gear. U need like renown 7-8 with most faction to get chest shoulders waiste head u can all buy with renown. And if ur 80 in last zone u can still rush trough the last few campaign quests and do all side quest for renown. And world quests i would do when ur 80 to get higher il and help u on the way with ur il
Follower dungeons did nothing for me. I tested out Ruby Life Pools in DF and the npcs refused to do anything. They only seemed to get their act together at the final boss and chip in to help.
I am a little concerned about splitting up side quests between my warband, since at least in Dragonflight some world quests were unlocked by the completion of side quests. Hopefully that feature is warband wide.
My leveling plan is to shout obscenities at the inevitable server crash for a few hours and then play for 4 hours in a sleep deprived state before giving up and doing it a solid 16 hours later anyways
My coworker took a day off first day of Dragonflight and I was like "oh sweet summer child." Because I doubt he got to play much at all because it always crashes
I think I figured it out. If you have a main that completed those quest you can display them by opening map, map filter, and Warband completed quest. And bam, you can see them all. I am sure an add on will do this from the get go.
The main quest "the archive" is currently bugged for me with the npc's being invisible. Guess the only way for me to level now will be dungeon grinding.
Be careful about logging out of your main and into your alts on launch day. Sometimes you can’t log back in because the servers crash. Stayed logged in on your main until the 2nd day, THEN login to your alts to start getting rested xp. Have fun everyone!!
One thing I don’t quite understand: If I finish side quests on an alt (in Zone B) - quests that are crucial for a faction or Story-wise … will my main then get the „unlock“ for that? I usually hate it when I’ve done and saved a whole village from fire and done their story and stuff only to come by with my other characters and the village is still in flames.
"Don't worry, every dungeon will have the follower dungeon option [...] so you don't have to interact with other players" 😂😂😂 Sometimes I wonder why people play an MMO if they hate social interaction this much... Anyways, looking forward to TWW!
@@randomusr12345 It's exactly as it sounds. Arms Warrior with a Sword n Shield. You Rage dump into Ignore Pain and Shield Block to gain a constant rolling defensive, 1Handed builds lots of rage due to it's fast auto attack speed, allowing your rage dump to reduce your Warbreaker/Colossus Smash and Bladestorm/Ravager faster than normal. You lose out Mortal Wounds [outside of BS/Rav uptime] but you become incredibly stable while DPS hovers on part with other DPS still. So long as you optimize your bleeds. Is it perfect? Hell nah, but it's fun.
Do you know if there are quests or stuff like "find the flags on top of mountains", that would be smart to do once we have reputation buff from Darkmoon?
