A few might be artificial ones, but for the most part they are still their real ones😂 Seeing a 70 year old guy without teeth would be weird here. Most 70 year olds here are still relatively fit. Here, everyone has healthcare that also extends to teeth. It's normal. If I saw someone without teeth, I'd think that they are at least 90 or even 100.

@@solar0wind I think because in the US they have alot of overpriduced and a lot of sugar in their foods. I lived in Germany and they are healthy when it comes to not consuming too much sugar which is bad for teeth. Only issue is eating too much fats and carbs. My great grandparents had all their teeth when they passed away all above the age of 90.

We have this story in my family (mom's side, true event), that a granduncle of my mom's (80+ years old at the time) said to a neighbor that he was going to the hospital to visit his mother, and the neighbor rushed into my grandparents' house to tell everyone that he's going nuts. But no. His mother was alive. My great-great-grandmother lived well beyond 100.

I work in a nursing home. For elderly people with dementia, you don’t know how many people talk about their mom and dad. They miss them they want to see them, and majority of the time they r reliving their youth so they think their parents are still alive. It’s really sad

Me too...and she loves to talk about her mom and dad. She never had kids of her own but she treats everybody like they’re her kids. She’s one of the best neighbors I’ve ever had...I keep telling her she can’t leave, lol.

The worst thing that could happen is that, simply going to get some groceries and never seeing her again, the shock and it could cause really deep depression I hope your doing well and have positive people with you

@@memoalalawi8237 It really was awful. She left at 4pm, last I heard from her was at 6pm. 8pm rolls by, nothing, 9pm, nothing. Not answering calls. Cops refused to file a missing persons report until 48hours after the last time I had contact with her. (IE they refused to even help look.) 2 days go by, they're finally allowed to search but don't do so til the next morning. Police and coroner came by later that day, told us they found her and her car, and then told us she was in an accident then told us she didn't survive. It was incredibly jarring. A year later, I'd like to say I'm doing well and that I've healed, but you never truly do, and I don't think I ever truly will.

Like how it is "unnatural" for a parent to bury their child, likewise, is it "unnatural" for a parent to see their own child face elderly illnesses and challenges? Parents are still parents...they want to help their children and not see them suffer. Arthritis, aches and pains, difficulty walking and caring for yourself. These are not things parents usually see at that advanced stage of 84 years anyway. Very astute and poignant point you raise! Either way, I would have loved to have my mom around too if I was 84 (actually, I would love to be around and healthy at 84 lol...I am only 1/2 way there now! hehee

reading these comments reminds me of how my great grandma passed away last month she was 98 almost a century though she barely remembered me bcuz of Alzheimer's i remember most tbe moments when i was really little and stayed at her house where she taught me how to grow flowers and take care of them, especially roses and sunflowers

My (maternal) great great grandmother lived till she was 115. My great grandmother lived until she was 107 and her husband lived until he was 105. My grandmother is 89 (and still standing straight) and has seen her grandchildren and even her great grandchildren, she's not going anywhere for the coming 11 years at least lol. I'm 17 and it just makes me wonder😂
