It is a deep rabbit hole with The Warning. They are from Mexico and the bass player just turned 18 and the other two are in their early 20s (they have birthdays around this time). They've got three great full albums, the latest is Error and I would suggest the title track, the official videos for Disciple, Evolve and Martirio (sung in Spanish) and for a change of pace Revenant is amazing. Actually every song on all three albums are great. The second album is a rock novel called Queen of the Murder Scene about love, obsession and of course eventually murder and is best reacted to in sequence and their live performance from Lunario CDMX has all the songs from that album. They got started and went viral with a cover of Enter Sandman when they were 14, 12 and nine years old and eight years later covered Enter Sandman again but this time they did it in their style and it was included on Metallica's 30th anniversary Blacklist album and that official video is great too (a collaboration with Canadian singer Alessia Cara). I went to a couple of the Halestorm shows last year specifically to see if the warning was as good Live I thought they would be. They far exceeded my expectations, the live guitar tone was tremendous. If these young ladies keep their head on straight they could be huge.

Choke was the first single off their new (3rd) album called "Error". It is the most "commercial"/""radio friendly" song they have ever done, IMHO. You will love any song from them, and I do NOT say that lightly. Their songwriting, musicianship and personalities are second to none! The girls had only been playing together for a year or two and their dad recorded them so that their grandparents could watch. The file was to big to send by mail so he uploaded it to RU-vid and took his family on vacation. When he came back he dropped his jaw because the video had become a viral sensation and today it has over 24 million views.

Guys, these three sisters Monterey, Mexico, are the next world class super group. They started back in 2013 at the ages of 14 (guitar), 12 (drums), and 9 (bass), after learning to play by playing the video game, Rock Star. From 2013 until now, their whole history has been documented on YT videos, and is time well spent to view all. Great reaction guys.
The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for all of about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. Note- their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto RU-vid. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 24 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were caught off guard completely by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing 2 hours a day separately and another 2 hours together daily). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood) They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for an Independent Music award in 2019. They just released (in 2022) their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing! They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and others. If you do the 2014 cover of Enter Sandman make it a double reaction with the 2021 version they did with the Canadian pop singer Alessia Cara. The Warning had a week to rewrite the song, record it and mix it before submitting it to Metallica for the Blacklist album. Because of all the travel restrictions at the time only Matt Squire traveled. Alessia recorded her parts in Canada while The Warning did their parts in Mexico. Then they sent it to David Bendeth in New Jersey to mix and on to Metallica for the Blacklist. They did an extraordinary job of taking a classic metal song apart and rearranging it to have 3 parts; a little bit of pop in the beginning, a rock middle and then a metal end. By chance it is actually track 1 of the Metallica Blacklist album.
my go to band is Band-Maid but when i want to listens to some straight up rock it is The Warning. I have met all of these 8 ladies and the thing they have in common is they are humble gorgeous great musicians and played kick ass hard rock.

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 18) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 20) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 23) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to RU-vid for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on RU-vid and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021. In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song... On October 8th, 2021, The Warning released six songs that were recorded for the new album on an EP titled Mayday with the remaining 6 songs to be released at a later date. Starting on the 18th of Feburary 2022 The Warning started out on their previously twice cancelled North American Mayday Tour. Their forst show was on Saltillo Mx followed by a short set openning for Mammoth WVH in Las Vegas, NV and another short set opening for Sammy Hagar in Austin Tx at the SXSW Festival. The song Narcisista is their answer to domestic critics who complain that they don't sing in Spanish. The song is the drummer's way of politely showing them her middle finger.

I saw them back in July with Hailstorm and they were amazing. They are three sisters from Monterrey Mexico. Daniella(Dany) on lead vocals and guitar. Alejandra(Ale) bass and Paulina(Pau) on drums.They've been playing since the were like six years old. They are Mexican but the speak perfect English. They've opened up for such bands as The Killers, Stryper,Def Leppard,Alice Cooper, The Foo Fighters,Guns N Roses,Three Days Grace,Halestorm,The Pretty Reckless,Lilith Czar and most recently Muse. They are currently working on their fourth album and scheduled to go on a European tour.There's plenty of live videos from their recent tour where they played over 100 shows.Mexico,South America, the states and in Canada. Lzzy Hale was the first female Gibson Ambassador when touring with the warning. She gifted a customized Explorer similar to her signature model to Dani on stage. There are some cool videos of it happening.

Great reaction. They began writing songs in their very early teens. Actually, the bass player Ale wasn’t even a teen yet, but they showed incredible maturity in songwriting even back then. Every song is different, they write great hooks, great riffs, and are heavily influenced by literature and the pitfalls they see in modern culture. They don’t have a throw away ‘b side’ song. Dig deeper. Their second album Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album with a very dark story written in chapters and it’s brilliant!

Finally you 2nd hands entered this arena of Mexican rock-sister-trio. For example if you take their song Survive and look at live video at TEDx Talks, Pau(lina) - the drummer/songwriter was 14 at that time, basist Ale was 12. What a JAM the created at the end of the song. The sisters has nicknamed Pau as animal, so if you take a look at that particular video with your Animal, I hope he'll enjoy it too. :) 14yo breaking drumstick during the song and keeps playing only missing a few snare hits as she has to pick new one from the floor. Peaces of old drumsting flying high as she hits the cymbal. Love it.. Chrissy will also enjoy to bass line.. I think Pau as the songwriter (they all contribute composing but Pau creates the sketch of the songs and lyrics) of their songs has very similar elements and talent to Tuomas Holopainen. Naturally the arrangements are trio only, but vividness of the music, key changes, beat changes etc makes their music very interesting.
I think that the audience at their second TEDx performance already after their first song *Unmendable* understood that it referred to Pau's drum kit. 🤣
Great reaction 2ndhandsouls. I got in late onto The Warning train, just started listening to them in 2021, but these young ladies are phenominal. Went out and got their latest studio LP, Error, which this track "Choke," is off of when it came out last summer and it is just a solid rock album all around. Their other two albums, 2018's Queen of the Murder Scene and 2017's XXI Century Blood are worth checking out as well. As others have posted. I hightly recommend you listen to some of their live performances. They posted 4 live session videos on their RU-vid channel from August 2021 through February 2022 of "Animosity," "Choke," "Evolve," and a song titled "Z." If I had to pick a favorite out of those, it would be "Animosity" but since you reacted to the Metro CDMX concert from August 2022, just watched that one as it popped up as I was typing this comment, then I would have to go with "Z" because it allows Dani to show off a little bit with a guitar solo. There are also some really good uploads of concert footage with quality audio, a number of which have been suggested by The Warning Army that have posted below me, but I highly recommend checking out their performance of "Survive" from TedX University from February 2017 when and bassist Alejandra was only 12 or 13, Daniela the guitarist was around 16, and Paulina the drummer was about 14. There is also a couple of precious videos floating around on RU-vid of the "evolution" of the ladies from 2011 to 2021/2022 over the last decade following their musical progression that is just cool and fun.
These three sisters from Monterrey Mexico are simply incredible, hearing more from them you will not be disappointed. Try Evolve next then Disciple, Dust to Dust (live from Lunario CDMX), Error, Dull Knives (De-Tour) Animosity and many many others.
