Fun reaction! Pau and Dany share lead vocals on this tune - Dany on the first verse and starting the chorus, Pau on the second, plus the little "swimming with the fishes" interlude, and the chorus ending "you shall remain in your space." Ale holds down the fort with her backing vocals throughout. Very impressive live performance...as always!
Go back and watch the beginning again. That's a 3 piece. Not a 4 piece, not a 5 piece. A 3 piece band creating that wall of sound. Absolutely amazing. Love this song, especially since they go back and forth with whos singing lead. They head to Europe today and I believe there are still tickets available for their headlining show in London on June 26th. I would highly, highly recommend going. Rearrange anything else you're doing and go. Their headlining shows are an experience and you will be kicking yourself later if you miss the opportunity. Oh, if you watch the official video you'll get a better idea of whose singing which part.
I recommend Dust To Dust live at Lunario for next Wednesday. Pau (drums) sings lead. It's a must listen to song and will help to see and hear the difference in there voices. Regardless what song you do I'll be here for it.
I concur, but if you do this song, then we'll ask you to do the full album following the song order! Album that is presented at this show is a concept album called Queen Of The Murder Scene (aka QOTMS) - and it's a fantastic album - just saying...
Personally, I prefer the Foro Didi version of Dust to Dust. The video starts with that song and you get to see Pau remove shoes and socks before she starts their performance. Part from that the close-ups on Pau is better than on any other video.
@@TheUnderdogDe both have things better. I prefer the raw sound of Pau's voice at Lunario but the real reason I recommend it to people new to The Warning is Rudys part throws people off on both sometimes but even more so when you can't at least see him.
@@LostHate Well, I'm not seeing that Rudy makes up for the much better video and audio quality at Foro Didi. His voice is the same since both shows used a recorded version of his singing. For me the recording of Ale and Pau before they start makes it better and Ale's extended intro is not left out either.
@@TheUnderdogDe not saying it makes it better just less confusing for some reacters. I've seen some talk about the male voice through most of the song ect. I personally love all versions of it includeding in person. They can't do it bad.
Pau likes to use her hands in a theatrical way when she gets a moments break from drumming, but then she seemingly pulls her drumsticks out of thin air in nanoseconds and continues beating the hell out of those poor drums again. They are all so much fun to watch. It is a little hard in this one to tell who is singing until you watch a few times, but they all contribute.
For what it's worth, it gets easier to tell the sisters' voices apart the more you listen to them. They sound similar, but I quickly got to the point where I could pick out which is Dany and which is Pau. Ale only sings lead on special occasions - usually when one of the other two is having voice or microphone issues. Ale can sing well, I think she has the widest range based on what little I've heard of her, but she doesn't want to. It would be cool if she sang lead in future songs, but I wouldn't want her to do anything she didn't want to. She's a good bass player, great backing vocalist, and is a pretty girl with good charisma and presence. What she is now is fine.
The girls will be playing in your neck of the woods, both with Muse as supporting act, and as headliners. Not sure where you are in the UK, but if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend seeing them live. It’s quite an experience.
They're on their way to Europe and I HIGHLY recommend going to see them if you have the chance. You will not regret spending the money to see them. They are the best thing to come along in rock and roll in many, many years. They are talented, original, entertaining and very attractive. All the qualities you need to become a global musical sensation. They just need more of the younger generation to open up to their musical talents. When I've introduced their music, my older rock and roll friends love what they see and hear. They are really down to earth if you meet them in person, but they also KICK ASS on stage. That's just three musicians doing that sound!
Ale (Allay) is on base and at this time she had just turned 19. She is according to her sister pitch perfect and has the best range. Ale sings mainly backup and harmonies. She doesn't like singing lead but has and does from time to time as required to cover for her sisters when they have an issue. Ale is apparently also referred to as the metronome as she is always on time, as such they use her for the timing ques now instead of Pau on the drums.
One of those cases where as kick-a** the live performance is, the official video gives you the benefit of who's singing what - because the lead switches between Dany (guitar) & Pau (drums) with even Ale having a lead line.
For your own enjoyment if nothing else (as it is nearly 1.5 hours) search YT for "The Warning UK Private Show". A show which was luckily (for me) delayed by Covid and was their first solo UK show on 29th May - and boy did they deliver. The organisers had it professionally recorded and both the visual and audio quality is excellent. I was so pleased to be able to get to see them in a small venue with only about 400 other lucky fans, as I doubt they will be playing venues as intimate when they next make it over here.
Did you notice Pau did not finish the line "you will remain in your space". The third time, she says, "You will remain in your space OF IGNORANCE ". If you want to hear Pau sing? Cover of Radiohead "Creep". ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A6Y4XpBxjU0.html.
Vocals: "1, 2, 3.. go!" was Alexandra (bass), the main vocalist on lead guitar is Dany and 'Swimming with the fishes til we drown' was the drummer Paulina
It's *2, 3, Go!* and for the rest of the lyrics I did Pau's parts bold and parts where Pau and/or Ale fill with background singing in italic. The sun is your enemy today Have you heard the news that the world isn't ending? _It's starting again_ _But all the nonbelievers they keep on pretending_ The sun is your enemy today You love to look away from _the face of your vices_ Embrace them instead And welcome yourself into the _new modern crisis_ *Oh, oh, I've been waiting* Oh, *Disciple in the making* Kill the system Kill the man Strip the power from their hands Your eyes will bleed as you stare at the screen *You shall remain* *Inside your space* _2, 3, Go!_ *The sun is my enemy today* *I'm running from the misery like there's no tomorrow* *Let's share it with them* *And show all the world that this life isn't borrowed time* *Oh, oh, I've been waiting* *Oh, Disciple in the making* Kill the system Kill the man Strip the power from their hands Your eyes will bleed as you stare at the screen *You shall remain* *Inside your space* *Swimming with the fishes 'til they drown* *Love is just another excuse we rely on* *Palpable but hidden in the sound* *Hate will always be a good friend when the sun goes down* Oh, oh, oh, hear my calling *Oh, oh, oh, nonbelievers start running* Oh, oh, I've been waiting *Oh, Disciple in the making* Kill the system Kill the man Strip the power from their hands Your eyes will bleed as you stare at the screen *You shall remain* *Inside your space of ignorance* In other words, out of 47 lines of lyrics only 22 are only Dany and 20 are only Pau and the rest are shared.
Great reaction! These sisters are overwhelmingly talented! EPIC live performance! They are now heading to Europe for a tour in June in various countries there and 5 concerts opening for MUSE. Amazing! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
The drummer Paulina short Pau is singing lead just from the beginning in so many songs. Her voice is gread while she plays the drums or piano. Alejandra short Ale dont like singing but when she do it the crowd whent crazy. She do some lead in her private zone The Warning cave or if Dany has problems with her voice in a concert. There are a few samples on You Tube.
The leads on this are Dani, the guitarist. and Pau. the drummer. Ale, the bass player, is singing lower backups. Ale's voice is not isolated in this - you were fooled by the camera work. Watch the official video of the song and it is obvious who is singing.
Yes Pau (the drummer) is singing that second section she has the higher pitch you can also see Dany the guiter, lead vocal is away from the mic so you know it's Pau. Ale is on bass she does some harmony & backup vocals but is just lately starting to sing a bit more
I have a Warning LIVE playlist on my channel. About half way down there are 4 acoustic tunes and 7 or 8 Sirius XM in studio tracks. If you're new to The Warning, all these videos give an intimate, up close look at their raw talent and musicianship. A must-see for anyone who loves The Warning and some awesome songs to react to!
That's right, MMM, they are Mexican and their native language is Spanish, English is their second language. In this song Dany, the guitarist, and Pau, the drummer, take turns as the main voice. Most of the songs are sung by Dany, but Pau also sings some songs as the main voice. Ale, the bassist, can also sing lead vocals, but she doesn't like to do it, so she only does it when Dany needs to rest her voice a bit. If you want to hear a song where Pau is the main voice, it could be one of these: Dust to Dust - THE WARNING - LIVE at Lunario CDMX Narcissist - THE WARNING - Live at Foro DiDi Monterrey Of Ale as the main voice there are only recordings made by followers of the band, but with not good quality. As: The Warning - Red Hands Never Fade - ALE SINGING
Dany does most of the lead singing, they have a number of songs where Pau is the lead singer, Dany and Pau may alternate on other songs, Ale preferes not to be the lead singer, but takes the roll when Dany/Pau have to rest their voices. On the 2nd album Queen of the Murder Scene, Pau sing lead in at least the first and last songs "Dust to Dust" and "The End (Stars Always Seem to Fade)". On their latest album Error, Pau sing lead on "Revenant", as wow is it different, it just does not get played because it's not rock, but it's a great song. When they have played it live their have invited someone to play a second guitar... and there are no drums. Found this fan video from the same concert you just watched ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Wx3onKBqt60.html FYI they changed outfits half way into the concert.
Great reaction Becky, really enjoyed it. I’m sure everyone has already told you that Pau sings more on this song than you actually realize at this point. Also, during their song Choke at this same concert, you will get to hear Ale’s voice isolated. A beautiful lower register! Until the next time!👀🔥😊🤘⚡️
Once you get to know this Band, you will be able to tell who is singing. If you want to understand who is singing in this song, check out the music video, so you can clearly see who is singing at what time. I love this song live. It is so much more Rockin in my opinion.
I hope you could get a ticket to see them in the UK in May. They are better live than on video. Love Warning Wednesdays. Pau takes the lead singing on several songs.
---No se pueden encontrar las palabras para definir la calidad de The Warning su poderosa musica y sus inteligentes letras, alguen comento "porque son tan buenas" ,la respuesta es sencilla es trabajo y humildad, Disciple wow
The "trick" into distinguishing their voices - and yes, they are _very_ similar, probably because "sisters"... is the "natural" vocal register is the precise opposite of their ages. Dany is oldest, and tends to sing the highest. Pau is "Malcom in the middle" (sorry; US television reference), and is generally lower than Dany... and Ale is the youngest, and sings... well, anything she needs to. But if a part is written for her in mind, it's the lowest register of them all. Not by a lot, and her voice is much smoother than Pau's kind of "smoky" vocalizations... but it's kind of a mellow lower tone. Just think "tone is opposite their age", and you won't often go wrong.
The bass player, Ale, very rarely sings lead vocals, but she does some great supporting vocals. I'd recommend the song "Sinister Smiles" ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yV8gpIrIR9s.html ) as I really love the way Ale's vocals blend with the harmonies on the chorus in that one. Ale has occasionally taken lead on a song or two if Dany needs to rest her voice, but as far as I'm aware there aren't any quality videos like this one, just cell phone footage from the crowd. For more of the drummer, Pau's vocals, you could try "Dust to Dust" ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yV8gpIrIR9s.html ), "The End" ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yV8gpIrIR9s.html ), or "Black Holes" ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lM8KeQ_tNQc.html ). All three are quite talented and put on enjoyable performances in every song. Looking forward to more Warning Wednesdays.
Bassist Alejandra's singing voice is much more subdued than her sisters' - it's usually difficult to hear her in most songs - an exception is the song Choke, where she takes a brief solo toward the end - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MMtuwMLGm-I.html
First of all, the sisters not only harmonize well together, but the different tones of their voices complement each other. Pau, the drummer, has a slightly deeper voice than the lead, Dany. At lease for me, it's hard to pick out Ale's voice from the three. Wish she would take the lead at times. Regardless, these ladies SHRED!
Maybe not for a reaction, but I recommend that you listen to Pau’s piano cover of “Creep” (Radiohead.) Obviously, as it’s an acoustic solo, it showcases her vocal talent perfectly.
Actually my mistake they flew over today their first gig there is on the 27th and their last gig is on the 26th of June in London (which I'm flying over from Ireland for)
Thank you Becky for doing Warning wednesdays. You will get use to their vocals after a bit and be able to tell who is singing what. They are all freakin awesome as f... Looking forward to the next Warning wednesday !!!
