Love the reaction! Something else to consider in this whole Teatro Metropolitan show is that this venue in Mexico City is at elevation 7,349 feet above sea level and they are in the middle of a 1 hour 45 minute show just kicking ass and taken names! Pau trains by singing while running to keep her cardio high. They all work hard to stay in condition to rock all their shows. Every show has such great passion!

Don’t know if it’s been brought to your attention yet, but all three are classically trained on piano from a very early age. I believe this is the foundation for their amazing composition skills.
This song was allegedly started by Ale, the song was built around her bass line. It was one of the first songs I heard of theirs and cemented their permanent place In my brain. From their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, it starts at the funeral of the protagonist. Her ghost asks us to come in and hear her tale of how things can go wrong. Thanks.

Ale has been a Spector Bass featured artist since she was about 14 years old. The custom 5 string bass she is playing in this video was brought to her in the Fall of 2020 when they were recording their third album. She has a new blue one that she has been using in recent concerts.
Don't see that everyday. Almost 7,500ft. Elevation and she's doing that.. She has 2 brains working at the same time. 2 sets of lungs.. Yep she's an alien. Ale is the secret weapon, she keeps the groves going no matter what. I've seen her save the day many times if someone forgot vocals, or miss a beat. She saves the day... She can sing if she has to save a sister.. 🤟🎶☮️
Several guitarists have said of Dany's technique, that it can't be taught because she does things that are "Wrong" but they fit perfectly, and they make the song better. All I know is their music touches so many fans, it is impossible to fault it. Drummers are equally amazed with Pau's technique. And Ale can turn on a dime. They were doing an acoustic performance and Ale started filling space left open because Dany was playing an acoustic guitar that was leaving dead air, until Ale filled it with bass lines, on the run. They have been together for so long, it is just natural for them. Just amazing musicians.
You absolutely nailed the part about the band that absolutely caught my attention and _really_ made me a fan: They don't merely "write songs", they *compose* them. Almost every note or drum hit is there intentionally, and they've always been very precise in their playing. Other than being even _more_ tight and precise, with voices and playing a tad more "polished", there is virtually no difference between this performance a year ago, and the premiere performance back when they were all _kids in high school_ , and the official recording (and they were a year or so younger when they wrote it; Ale would have been junior-high age). It is really quite astonishing.
Dust to Dust is the prologue of their 2nd Album Queen of the Murder Scene. It is a concept album or rock novella. It’s an amazing piece of art by teenagers. Once you’ve consumed the Metropolitan show I recommend doing QotMS in order. I prefer the Lunario concert. Although the production quality isn’t at Metropolitan level (it’s 4 years older to begin with) Dany’s performance as “the Queen”is unrivaled.
DPA are incredible performers the ending vocal by Dany and Pau's awesome fill always blows me away. 🔥 They are having a ton of fun which is so fun to watch. Ale plays a key roll right from the start sets the tone and her bassline stays strong right through to the end. Pau's vocals while drumming are a thing of beauty. An often overlooked performance by Paulina is 'Copper Bullets' from the 2018 Lunario concert. She takes the lead for this gig instead of Daniela. For some reason the stand alone clip posted isn't as clean as the concert video and there doesn't seem to be as much focus on Pau. @@RockCandy-ix3nn Before the Teatro Metropolitan concert became the gold standard with it's HQ sound, the Lunario concert was one of the best captures out there, it had a lot of great stuff going for it. It was the live premier of the QOTMS album, Dany was playing her Manson guitar and she gradually 'became' the protagonist as she sang, plus a 13 year old Ale was very animated all over the stage. Lots of good tracks from the Lunario performance.
Dust to Dust is the intro song on DPA/TW's "Queen of the Murder Scene" concept album (aka QOTMS)... it is inviting you in to hear the deep, dark, and foreboding story of a young woman apparently in love with someone that doesn't even know she exists... it follows her battles between good and evil over her soul... the Spanish speaking part is their manager, Rudy, playing the part of a preacher at the funeral... translated, this is what he says... Brother! Salvation is something that is earned! Let go of your hand of resentment and Wake up to a new light within you Although your brothers try Plunge into the darkness QOTMS is one of those albums best experienced by listening to it from beginning to end in order... listening to each of the songs piecemeal and out of order is like trying to figure out a movie by catching a portion near the end, one from near the beginning, and one near the middle... yeah, it won't work out very well... as a concept album, many of us members of TWA can easily see it as a movie or Broadway stage performance... it is that good and to think it was written by them at a very young age and released as their 2nd album! i mean... whoa! who does that?? 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Pau uses her Tom Tom's more than high hats....she simply replaces a lot of cymbals work with her beating the hell out of her Toms....she is an exquisite drummer and talented singer as well. Thanks RC.
I strongly suggest you do the concept album in its entirety, QOTMS is a phenomenal album that depicts the story of a psychotic young lady who constantly fights with herself over a man she is in love with. Dust to Dust is the Prelude of an Epitaph of Murder. I personally would compare these young ladies with two other powerful trios and that would be Rush and Grand Funk Railroad, ZZ Top was too much southern fried rock and The Warning are nowhere near that style of music.
@@g.garcia7151 The Police was a pop band maybe pop rock i wouldn't go that far I don't like them either. Yeah, Cream was awesome, but they were only together for 3 years and only had 3 albums, now Triumph was an explosive band which I absolutely loved and still have their entire collection.
The Warning grew up watching AC/DC, Queen and Pink Floyd concerts and, although they don’t sound like any of them, you can see the influence of especially the first two, and especially the latter in Dany's guitar solos. The concert friendliness, stage presence and riffs is AC/DC. The anthemic choruses is Queen. Even though the songs overall sound like The Warning and not any of those bands.
Hey Rock Candy Man! I think it's an apt comparison with ZZTop, even though they aren't southern rock. They understand musical composition very well, as evident here. They wrote this as young teens. I many songs you will hear Dany and Ale trade the lead melody off between Bass and guitar, and Pau will vary her drum patterns to slowly build the song in intensity or change the feel of tempo or rhythm to keep the song from getting repetitive. All of their songs have very catchy hooks without getting boring. They truly have a gift. And they are so well rehearsed they can play in their sleep and still be together. This also makes it easier for them to put so much soul and feeling into their singing as they play. There's that old saying, "How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, Practice, Practice". And they definitely put in the work, even practicing in their basement rehearsal room (aka The Warning Cave) in front of a full wall mirror, so they can play while moving around the stage. They absolutely pay attention to every small detail, I think partly because they have been mentored by many industry professionals and musicians since they were very young. Keep them coming, Rock Candy!

Narcisista is what your wanting. It is one of there two songs in Spanish but you can easily get lyrics in line. Maybe read them first so you can absorb the performance. The Foro Didi is older she drums and sings and the Teatro she is out front with guest drummer (her drum coach Beto Ramos) playing.
