I don’t think Choke is their or the fans’ least favorite song, it just wasn’t their first choice for the first single released from their last album. Seems like you’re experiencing a common phenomenon with The Warning fans, as we often say your favorite song is the last one you heard. Suggest Disciple or Animosity next (from this same show). 😎👍
@@BraindeadBreakdownyeah bro you’re gonna love whatever songs you do next from either their old or new stuff.. I’m 23 like Dany and been a fan for 4 years now 🤘 this is one of the best bands of my generation.. probably the best
Out of nearly 50 original songs this band has released, including their two Spanish language songs. Here are the list of five songs that you can classified as *"filler songs":* *1)* *2)* *3)* *4)* *5)* Sorry. I don't think there's any. Sure, some songs are better than others. But there are none that was written to fill an album. Or even a B side on those old 45 RPM singles. Yes, their concert at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (Mexico City) was amazing in 2022. They just done three shows in Mexico that was much better then the Teatro Metropolitan shows. Apparently, not verified but the shows was the same (3 different venues with basically same setlist & same stage setup. Possibly another concert release. A double live Vinyl/CD/DVD would be nice.
Great reaction. You absolutely need to check out Evolve at this years at the MTV VMAs. It was by far the best performance of the night. Don't forget to turn it up. As all Warning fans say, "You have been Warned!"
I think that the girls said that the song " Choke " was only about their 11th favourite on the Error album but it is alot higher up in the list of favourites for a fair few fans . Look forward to more from the girls , cheers fella !
This song is a good example of how they fill out their sound. When Dany is soloing or not playing, Ale moves an octave up to fill in the mids, then when Dany is playing rhythm again she drops back down an octave.
This is the opener . The song Animosity is next. You can do the whole show, or 1or 2 songs at a time if you want.. 21 more songs in this show.. Friggin next level good.. 🤟🎶☮️😂
Nice reaction. Some interesting looks at things. Enjoyed a fresh perspective. The reason you are going to hear a lot of recommendations for the Teatro Metropolitan videos is because it really is the gold standard for live videos. Amazing audio engineering, all the instruments come through perfectly and well balanced. Same for the vocals. The videography is stunning. Lots of great angles captured in high quality that does a good job of catching the action and highlighting what needs to be seen. They even incorporate some fan video in some of them to give it even more of a live feel. The light and stage show are a perfect compliment to the performance that is happening. The girls also put on an amazing, emotional performance for the largest crowd they had headlined for up to that point. In Mexico city no less.
Z is one of the best openers I have had the privilege of standing in front of a row of massive sub cabs in front of a stage. Pau kicked it off with that kick and snare that woke the dead, 3 counties over. When Ale fired up that Spector 5 string Beast, Then Dany kicked in with the power riff, I hung onto the rail in front of that stage, as she and her sisters, tried to knock me over with that wall of sound. I fought tooth and nail for the entire set, and came out with only some sore ribs, and a Smile that took 3 days to stop. Bought more tickets right away, and did it a bunch more. What can I say, I love me some kick ass loud Rock & Roll, and these three ladies have it in spades. Best band I have ever seen live. Until you see them jam in person, most just don't understand what we mean.🤘
The Warning never cease to amaze me. The band is an experience. It is a life story. It is a phenomenon. I have not heard a more exciting band since the '70s. I am 68 and want to see them live! This entire concert is amazing.
Thanks for the reaction, I love Choke, I just prefer their live version which they do at this concert!! I recommend any song from this concert, 22 videos, or their recent performances at MTV’s VMA’s of Evolve and MORE!!😊⚡️
Loving The Warning reactions. I got to see them live in Atlanta here in states in May, there's no words to describe how good they are. You do need to see them perform Evolve from the MTV VMAs and see them blow the roof off the place.
Just do a search for The Warning Teatro Metropolitan setlist and then play the songs live performances in that order, except for Evolve which has to be the MTV VMAs performance. You can find all of their pro shot live performances on their official RU-vid channel.
What people mean when they say they are better live is that their live recordings/production generally sound better and far more dynamic than their studio recordings and music videos. Not many three piece rock bands can say that. They have amazing audio techs on their team.
I am happy to see that you are all in with The Warning because you are a good reactor to follow. Next song? Bah! Any of them, literally. Keep on rocking.
The Teatro shows are really good. When you're ready to see them little younger check out some of their excellent live stull from Lunario CDMX where they play all the songs off of their second album, which is a concept album called Queen of the Murder Scene and it's best done in order since it tells a story.
Hi Dude, great reaction! Actually, Choke and Z are my two least favorite songs on their Error album and I still love them both! LOL. I would recommend every song at this concert, but I will give you a few: Disciple, Evolve, Survive, 23, Revenant, Narcisista... Enjoy!
I would like to hope that most bands are better live, but I have been sorely disappointed over the years by quite a number of large famous acts that were absolute rubbish and downright insulting to their audiences live. I say this because The Warning are in such stark contrast to these acts. Live they are just amazing. They are also the nicest most humble people you could ever meet. I just got back to the States after seeing them live last week in Mexico for two sold out shows. Just amazing. They have a deep catalog of a variety of influences. A lot of music to explore with them.
I do not think many fans will say Choke is their least favorite song. I think it is a great song and the video is awesome. All we were saying is their live performances are better. I do not know about you, but not all bands sound better live. Bands may think they sound better live but a lot of them do not. I have been to many concerts and some bands sound great, and others I wish I just listened to the studio performance. The Warning sound better live is all we were saying. I love all their videos and studio recordings, but to me they are at their best live and not all bands are. Great reaction and looking forward to your next.
Didn't I say any good band? Because I was supposed to say that. 😂 The live performance shows the skill of being able to perform what you write on a live stage and any band that performs live, should aim for that.
"Choke" is among my favorites as is "Z." I'm not sure what the knock on "Choke" is. All of their music videos are high quality and should not be avoided or skipped over. Yes, live they "come alive" so to speak but they put a lot of time and effort to produce their mv's for us to watch, especially since it was during the pandemic, and they couldn't tour. The mv's for "Martirio" is stunning and "Disciple" is a big production. One mv from six years ago is , "XXI Century Blood" the title track from their first full studio album. It is more like watching a movie and was nominated for and won some awards. I recommend doing their two performances from the MTV Music Video Awards show from September. The songs are "More" and "Evolve."
The only knock I have on 'Choke' is that I am kind of burnt out on it. So many reactors start off with the video for that song, and I am done with that video. It's a great video, really, but I want to hear it live. At least the 'Error' video captures the live feel of the band. As do the videos for 'Evolve' and 'Money'. 'Animosity', 'Martirio', and 'Enter Sandman' are 3 others that were cool to watch a few times, but I want the live videos. 'More' and 'Disciple' are fine as videos and don't bother me either way.
They know how to hook you and pull you deeper and deeper. You know on just about every song they're gonna tear your face off by the end. Nice Review. Keep Warning us.....
Thank you for the sub! There will definitely be more reactions to these girls, I am really enjoying them. Their individual personalities really shined through well in this video! 🤘
Any song from this concert is good watch Disciple or Evolve. For more heavy content Ugh or Queen of the Murder Scene all from this show. Thank you I enjoy your breakdown of their performance. 🤟⚡🔥
Filling the sound is a good term. Another sound mixer Utuber on another song noted they had a good mix of their voice volumes. You can tell all 3 could actually take the lead.
The funny thing is even Led Zeppelin was a three piece band... with a vocalist. Many bands are guitar, bass, and drums, with a vocalist. The cool thing with The Warning, is they are all the vocalist. Best rock band on the scene right now. IMO.
What they are trying to say is that while watching the official video, they sound great, but when watching them live, they sound much better. That's where many bands and songs, when seen live, leave much to be desired compared to their original video
Great way to open a show! These ladies are just an amazing breath of fresh air. I fell into the Warning rabbit hole several months ago and am loving it down here. 🙂🤘
Gran reacción de tu parte. Cierto: tres elementos que suenan sólidos y que llenan el espacio con música muy bien atada. 🤘🇲🇽🤘🇲🇽🤘🇲🇽 Viva The Warning!! ( "Has sido advertido")
in the USA they are a small band, in Mexico and South America they are the freakin Beatles. the girls cant get through an airport without being mobbed, they finally played in Europe this year to wonderful crowds and they are going back to Europe in 2024 with their new album.
Ale on bass and Pau on drums build a solid foundation upon which Dany can fill that pocket with her guitar parts which are a big part of telling the story.
There are a ton of all female rock bands exploding out of Asia...Rolling Quartz, Band Maid, ROLIGHTS, Rocket Punch etc, but none of them are as _melodic_ as the Warning. They create catchy hooks that leave the last of their songs you hear swirling around in your head for the rest of the day. Nobody else does it like The warning. They seriously don't have one bad song and you can whistle, hum or sing every one of them..
le tengo un cariño especial a CHOKE, se destaca mucho la voz de Daniela con esos agudos altísimos, pero Z también tiene detalles hermosos, THE WARNING 🤘🤘
Yeah, this was highly recommended because you desired a solo (can't blame you at all). Queen of the Murder Scene live at Teatro Metropolitan is another banger with a very throw back solo!
Yes Z was the opener for the most part off the tour in 2022 and early 2023. its a kick ass up tempo rocker. Next up should be Animosity Live at Teatro Metropolitan. If you want to watch the whole show from Order of setlist with. Iff im correct the first The Warning song where Ale used a pick on the bass. Instead of the usuall finger picking style shes is most known for
@@BraindeadBreakdown Yes you were. Z was the opener i will link the whole show for you this link is just the whole show front to back ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7hbBa1-1p7M.html And this is the same show but as a playlist. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7hbBa1-1p7M.html just depends which video style you like the most
@@BraindeadBreakdown Yes please! This entire Teatro Metropolitan show is great fun and a really nice recording. And since you started with the opener, it would be cool to continue. There is one song (Breathe) from this show that is just the song being played over the PA system for the crowd while the ladies changed clothes for the second half of the show. Still fun to watch, if you're a fan, but might not make the best reaction.
some Fun Facts about *Z* : 1. *Z* has been their opener for numerous concerts... 2. the title of this song, "Z", is short for "GenZ" or "Generation Z"... they thought it to be "too much" so they shortened it to just "Z"... 3. yes, they do reference their song *Kool-Aid Kids* in the 2nd verse: Wear the blindfold, drink the tide Who will we destroy this time? Revolutionary Kool-Aid kids Happiness, the lowly traitor Kill the raw, one like, one prayer Disappointing how we're used to fall (I think that you should) 4. Pau does one of her three known screams in *Z* "I THINK THAT WE SHOULD!" 5. this song, a cup of c0ffee, and a donut are the perfect start to the day! 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
2 out of three of my favorite contemporary groups on your channel so far Lovebites, the Warning all you need is Gacharic Spin for the tri fecta i hope you find them soon although mite not e quite what you expect. your cousin must be seriously cool if Dany reminds you of her ;)for the best live performance from the Warning do Evolve live at the MTV VMA"S they went all out to give a stunning performance
I sense an incoming "journey to the rabbit hole" 🤘 My suggestion would be their second album's title track "Queen of the Murder Scene". But if you want a little surprise and see they are kinda being 4 piece, then watch "Narcisista" live from Teatro 😅
I liked the reaction. Wouldn't mind if you dove deeper into your view of each person's musicality if you can as well. I am not a musician, but I do like to hear from musician reviewers and their take on the talent they are reacting to. Thanks for the reactions.
Current driving music on rotation: Jinjer, Judas Priest, Dio, Marina and The Warning. Seen the Warning live three times now and they are spectacular 💯👯♀️🇲🇽⚡️🤘
23 bangers Live at Thetro Metropolitan August 2022, Z was the opener and there are 22 more for you to enjoy. The Warning = Smile, abandoned joy, and excellence in musicianship. Can’t help but love them.
Thanks for doing this. Of all the tracks on ERROR, I like this least, frankly. Yes, I like hearing Dany play but musically it’s pretty simplistic, unlike the other tracks which feature chromatic scales, time signature changes, alternate tunings, etc. it hey, I’m not a Gen Z. 😉. 🔥🤘#NumberlyGarfs
Yeah this is my least favorite on the album but I don't dislike it. I just don't actively seek it out. I lean more towards Animosity, Disciple, Revenant and their 2 new songs. I can't wait until they put out official releases of them!
@@BraindeadBreakdown The band has been around for a decade, and are finishing up their fourth album right now. As such, a few of the songs in this show, while fan favourites, are clearly the work of less-seasoned songwriters. Two songs really come to mind - Survive, and When I'm Alone - which were both performed at a Tedx show in 2017 when they were 12, 15, and 17. That whole 3 song show is legendary, and imo, the better place to hear those two songs. That show is responsible for a large chunk of their fanbase.
Your assumption about Choke is likely incorrect. The majority of the TWA love Choke. I don’t personally recall ever hearing anything from TW indicative of them ever downplaying Choke. Just the sheer fact that it has always been on their set list since they released Error when other songs are not is pretty good indication that TW must believe the fanbase likes the song. I guess we’ll find out when they start touring in support of TW4 which songs from Error stay on the set list and I wouldn’t necessarily bet against Choke remaining.
There were a lot of comments from fans of the band that felt like they weren't too hot on Choke, at least on my video and that is all I have to go off of. I am not claiming to be right, just sharing my experience so far. The comments thus far on this video are contradicting that though.
I saw an interview where the girls had said that Choke was their least favorite from the Mayday EP (Error was not released at this point) just due to the strain it put on Dany's vocals. I think Dany's voice has really strengthened since they recorded the album and it is not as much of a strain as it used to be, but that's just my opinion.
@@jimlaheta8864 I agree! Dany’s voice is just starting to reach maturity and she’s still several years from reaching her prime. Historically Dany’s vocals have elevated between every album release and I expect that to continue with TW4. She’s still learning when and how to incorporate her natural distortion and vibrato and her range has increased exponentially over the last 3-5 years. I firmly believe that Dany will eventually be regarded as one of the better vocalists and front persons in their genre as she progresses in her career.
Here's a video playlist of all 22 songs from the Teatro Metropolitan concert, linked directly from their Official RU-vid channel, plus a link for the entire concert. It includes all the songs from their recent album ERROR plus highlights from their previous two albums and their Blacklist version of "Enter Sandman" - ru-vid.com/group/PLVJLlyTsgzsagBKPKlKNKt6W62rMbyjsQ
I have seen bands that were _not_ better live; looking at you, Helmet and Slayer. That said, I saw The Warning in August and they were great. Both Dany (guitarist) and Pau (drummer) have a ton of charisma that make it hard to look away from them. Ale (bass) wasn't the same at the concert I attended as she is here and on the VMA songs; she seemed more withdrawn and somber. They do use backing tracks to a certain extent to help fill out the song, including this song, but I'm okay with that as long as it isn't a big part and as long as they're not pretending to play it.
Hey, found your channel today. I watched all your Lovebites and the Band-Maid and The Warning reactions. You earned a sub. May I suggest another Japanese band: Nemophila. Please either do "Adabana" or "Zen (Live)."
Thank you for the sub! I will be revisiting all of those again soon 🙂 if that is the style you like, try the Unleash The Archers reactions. You might like them!
I love this band - so exciting to see good rock, again! Awesome reaction. By the way, is that a Family Guy Star Wars shirt you're hiding under that jacket? (yeah- I know - strange question)
