QOTMS at Lunario CDMS ....full fantastic concept Album Live....a must!!! Best Rock Band in many Decades right here....heard them all since the 60's ....Truth!!!!
You'll probably see the word "masterpiece" in many comments regarding this song and that's because the whole album is exactly that. Written by teenagers! These 3 ladies are from another planet.
This is the title track to The Warning's Queen of the Murder Scene concept album. You'll definitely want to watch & react to their Lunario concert where they performed the album in its entirety. It's really the best way to take in QotMS, in my opinion.
The repeated phrase “Korosu, korosu, koro, korosu, korosu, koro” adds an air of mystery to the song. In Japanese, “korosu” means “to kill.” This enigmatic repetition further emphasizes the character’s darker nature and their refusal to be controlled by external forces. The character in “Queen of the Murder Scene” claims to be a machine with no emotion. They proclaim to be a “perfect scene for the murder queen.” These lines hint at a detachment from humanity, as if their actions are driven solely by logic and a desire for power. The lyrics also touch on the idea of immortality. The character states, “You can always kill what’s immortal, but it just doesn’t apply to me.” This line suggests that they possess an invincibility, a resilience that sets them apart. Yet, amidst this seemingly cold and calculating persona, there is a plea for something worth living for. The lyrics reflect a longing for purpose and significance. The protagonist declares, “Give me something worth living for, my words are what make everything burn.” These lines convey both a desire for meaning and a rebellious spirit.
Chorus "Korosu" is Japanese for "to kill" if you were wondering. :-) Awesome reaction! That Gibson Explorer is the one that Lzzy Hale gifted to Dany on stage at one show where Halestorm headlined and The Warning was an opening band.
New album _Keep Me Fed_ on June 28th. This is the title song from their 2nd album, a concept album that tells the story of a girl going from unrequited love to obsession, stalking, murder, and then a battle with her evil side for her soul.
TW762, you write like you've heard about it. Are you the go to literal source used by multiple reactors as they react to QOTMS? Why yes, you are! Kudos!
The bass, man. The bass puts this song on a different level. I loved what Ale did here, it’s just insane. I heard that the scream was a Dani's record. That’s sick.
I had the opportunity to watch this band live in my country. It was a completely whole other level of sound. This band is pretty amazing and they're just getting started.
Absolutely EPIC live performance!! The entire QOTMS album is a masterpiece written by teenage girls! These sisters are overwhelmingly talented! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
That guitar was actually a gift from Lzzy Hale from Halestorm. I’m gonna see them live next friday and meet them, can’t wait. This band is just amazing and this is just the start, you’re going to be obsessed with them like I am ❤️
As many have said this is from their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, in my opinion easily one of the top 5 concepts albums of all time, and I consider it the best. Written and arranged by young teenagers. And it gets better with each listen.
This song is absolutely menacing. Written by teenagers!! They are special and I’m glad you’re discovering that for yourself. Most healthy addiction ever.
Hell YEAH!!! Nice reaction. Way to break it down. Never get tired of listening to The Warning, and your reaction just amplifies my love for this band! 👍🤘
Beto Ramos.....The sound Mixer for this concert actually played the drums during this one too. He is also Paulina's Drum Coach, and was her teacher for years. He played her kit so she could come down off that riser, and take the front lead role for the Banging song Narcisista. Talk about an epic performance, this is it! Narcisista is a stand alone Single they released after Queen of the Murder Scene Concept LP. I know that one will resonate hard with you. 🤘
Thank you for the reaction. Welcome to my 3 year obsession with these ladies. Wait until you see them live in person, it will be a show that you will never forget.
“Can we please just appreciate how evil that riff sounds!” Exactly! Dany’s character “the Queen” is under the control of her evil alter ego, taunting her. Dany descending into madness. Do you hear the blood-curdling screams at the end? Dany’s prerecorded screams as background vocals in the end!
A new album, their 4th already, Keep me Fed is coming out June 28th. The Warning demand your attention with songs like these, this song is all over the place which makes it so AWESOME! Gives me a Sabbath feel
She is very modest and restrained most of the time, but can shred with the best when called to do it. 16 years of playing will do that for you! More importantly, she is a consummate entertainer with fiery swagger and a versatile voice.
For kids, around 13-18, to create an excellent, cohesive concept album, is really unbelievable! The background tracks on this song are haunting!Enjoyed your reaction. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ 🤘🕊❤️🤘
Dany said fairly once that Ale has the perfect personality for bass, Pau DEFINITELY has the right personality for drums, and said that she wasn’t sure if she really had the right personality for guitar (or words to that effect). She’s very modest, but i also get what she means because she isn’t into showing off and shredding with ego building speed, although she can certainly solo well and play very complex parts. But that lack of guitar ego is one of the things that makes her guitar playing so unique and outstanding. She is a highly trained guitarist… her teacher was actually kind of a legend, and the parts she plays through the songs tend to be complex and detailed and unusual and very outside of the box. And she plays crazy counter rhythms while singing lead…. Flawlessly on both. As a guitarist myself, I would rather have her talent and skills than mine (mine are more typical rock/blues player stuff on that instrument).
100% agree concerning Dannys playing. As a lifelong 68 year old rocker, guitar player/singer myself, its refreshing to see her playing parts with substance instead of mindless shredding. Your comment about her playing counter rhythms while singing is spot on. That is way more challenging than people understand. What she plays is about as perfect as you can get within the songs they do, and even more amazing is doing it at her age. Another thing that is highly overlooked is their song writing, even dating back to their earliest days. Great band!
We'll you're in luck Steven... Their debut EP Escape the Mind was featured at their Liceo performance available on their RU-vid Channel. Their debut LP XXI Century Blood was showcased at their Dakota Bar concert and that series is on their RU-vid channel. Their second album "Queen of the Murder Scene" was featured at their Lunario and Foro Didi concerts, both available on their RU-vid channel. And most recently from 2022 their Error album was performed at the Metropolitan Theater (Teatro Metropolitan) available in it's entirety on their RU-vid channel. They also preformed @ the Pepsi Centre in Mexico City in 2023 where they played many songs from Error and Queen of the Murder Scene and a couple new ones from the upcoming "Keep Me Fed" album. They just started releasing videos from that concert on their RU-vid channel...
The off beat drum patterns and the tuning in drop D gives it a dissonant sound. The bass lines are intense and are superbly played. Their new album comes out June 28. Their most recent album is "Error" released in 2022 (though recorded in 2020 but not released for 2 years because of the pandemic). The album most reacted to is their 2nd studio album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", a concept album, released in 2018, which this song is the title track.
This is heavy AF for TW and the next song Ugh from this show from the same album is a banger too. They always bring it live this whole show is awesome you could start from the beginning with Z and roll right through I think all the Error album is played here. The harmonies are a secret weapon for them and they use them perfectly at this show. Thanks Steven great reaction. 🔥⚡
When the explorer comes out, metal ensues. For a full-album reaction … all of them🤣 But for reals, the best one to do is this one. ‘Queen of the Murder Scene’ because it’s a concept album with a thru-line story. Lunario is the go-to concert for the album as it was the debut. They also performed it at Foro DiDi. Both include the video screen graphics that go along with the songs & help tell the story.
Please please check out the Teatro Metropolitan performances of '23' or 'Dust to Dust' next which really showcase Paulina's amazing vocals whilst drumming like a badass.
I hope they continue with some dark-evil songs like that not only catchy rock songs. There is a phrase in this song. I'm a machine, no emotion. I'm going to change it a little to define them. I'm a gun-machine of emotions.
Since the Queen of the Murder Scene album is concept, you should have the lyrics with you and read about the story first. Then, when you hear them perform it at Lunario (2018) it will all come together beautifully.
my guy im so glad you mentioned it bc you GOTTA react to their "ERROR" album from 2022 🤘 and also their single "Narcisista" from 2019. their first song that was fully in Spanish and it's basically a huge middle finger to ppl that used to criticize them for not making songs in Spanish
Steven, you need to react to the entire Queen of the Murder Scene! Wanna talk "soundscape"? Dude, they were teenagers when they wrote this! QOTMS is the most incredible and heart wrenching concept album I have ever listened to. Oh, and that Gibson Explorer as a gift from Lzzy Hale. Find the Lunario concert from when they played the entire album for the first time and watch from start to finish. You will not be disappointed and TWA will be here for it.
If this is your first foray into the masterpiece that is the QOTMS, you're in for a treat, check out the album drop show (Lunario??) Dany goes into full character, all 3 of them kill it, but Dany is on the next level
This is one of my favorite Dany 05:43 solos, but I also love that fantastic bass riff Ale is playing at the same time. To me, it sounds like another voice telling a different part of the story. Perhaps even a counterpoint to Dany's solo.
If you liked this song I would highly suggest listening/warching all of the Queen of the Murder Scene album. I love this song but when I first found out The Warning I would not be able to play just 1 song from the album, I had to listen to the entire thing because if not it felt incomplete fue to it being a concept album. And yes, they're going to release a nee album on June but we've still got a couple of months of wait 😮💨
hello, great reaction!! i would definitely recommend a reaction to every single song from that concert, i would start with "DUST TO DUST Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022", but any of them would do the trick
If you're enjoying the dark side then QoTMS full album sets at Lunario are perfecto. If you want the album that most of this concert you're watching is around, that's Error and it's amazing. And yes a new album is coming in June with a whole new style. They also have XXI Century Blood which is well... also fricking amazing.
If you're going to react to an album react to "Queen of the murder scene" it's their secound album and they realease it in 2018 @lunario in Mexico City, That concert was record it wit exceent sound quality and it is a work of art, great reaction, by the way!!! greetings from Mexico!!!!
The album version sounds pretty much _exactly_ like this live performance. Someone once wrote (and I have no idea who; it was a while ago and I'm paraphrasing) "Most bands try to duplicate their studio sound when they play on stage. _The Warning_ does precisely the opposite." This pretty much defines them - they are a *live* band first and foremost; the studio is kind of secondary.
Ey amigo. Aquí desde la Patagonia Argentina. The Warning Army fan. Reacciona al álbum Queen of the Murder Scene. Concierto de Lunario CDMX del 2018. Queen of the Murder Scene es un álbum conceptual de The Warning que cuenta la historia de una mujer obsesionada por un amor no correspondido. Tanto, que llega a la locura y el asesinato.
As good as this performance is, it's still worth going back four more years to 2018 and the Live at Lunario debut presentation of the whole album. They were 13, 16, and 18 on release day. It's hard to believe how good this teen production is. I ripped the CD to my Mac and iPhone and play it often. The only album I ever heard that contains demented cheerleader punk!
Post production mixing has been around for years. Live albums even in the 70s were recorded this way. The thing is the live PA mix will always have to be different from a recording mix for very obvious reasons.
Did you ever upload that reaction you did with your friend? This is the most recent reaction to The Warning I found on your channel and It's been a whole month now.
Does Succubus ring any bells.. .. that is what The Warning are. 3 succubus's luring us all in with their beauty and beautiful rock. btw does anyone know how to get my soul back.. .. nevermind they can keep it as long as I have their music
