What amazes about DPA is the fact that they always upper their game when it counts the most; wether it's the MTV VMA, opening for Def Leppard (when all of them were young teens), opening for Muse, GnR, Foo Fighters in front of tens of thousands. During their concert at Lunario where they presented QOTMS album. During their shows at Teatro Metropólitan, or in Jimmy Kimmel's show. Whenever something big is at stake, when others panicks and shrinks, these fearless ladies kills it big time, giving performances to remember.
I don't normally watch late night tv , like Kimmel, either. But, knowing The Warning were going to be on, I stayed up late to watch it. They were the best part of the show, of course it was last, lol. So glad they posted these 2 videos on their channel, "Automatic Sun" wasn't shown on tv, just "S!ck". Good to see pro shot lives for these songs. 🤘🤘 I agree , this album is will introduce TW to a lot of people. It's getting radio play. "More" has been played, and "S!ck" is currently on air. I preordered Keep Me Fed, so it's on the way. I'll be listening to that a lot this summer too.
Another point about this new album: it's their first adult album. They're not teenagers, much less children, any more. They've grown up and moved on. So has their music, as evidenced by the twelve songs on the album, and how different it sounds from their previous work. Sadly, some of their fans seem not to like or accept that fact.
One of the big reasons this album will put them over the top is that Republic took over promotion and is really pushing the band. Republic is the parent of Lava and they did nothing to promote Error. Lava did not even have anything on their web site on how to buy Error. Republic is pushing hard on selling physical copies of KMF
Yeah its really great to see them get the support they deserve and at the same time a lot has to be said for how popular they still got without the help they should have been getting! Republic is basically Universal Music Group so they have the money to really shoot them into orbit!! I cant wait to see what next and I cant wait to see them live in person!
