This song has evolved so much since Dany first wrote it. It is from their first album. I think Free Falling (and the other tracks from their first EP) is technically older because they were already composing songs before going to Berklee College of Music, which is when Dany composed this. The studio version has the entire band performing it but this has always been Dany's song from start to now. It was originally about her feelings way back then, being homesick even though her sisters and her parents were with her in Boston. She missed her friends, her cats, her own bed, everything about being home. That's tough. But here she is ten or so years later on stage all by herself sharing a moment with 8000 other people who sing the song along with her. Yes, she is encouraging the audience to sing along with her. So, the song is now about everyone feeling alone from time to time and how to deal with it. Intro404 was created in the studio from samples of parts from the songs on the Error Album. SO it is TW performing the track but David Bendeth and Jake Carmona get the writing credits (along with TW) because they created it in the studio. TW always gives credit to everyone who participated in a song's creation. They also used Intro 404 to promote the album in advance of its release, doing a decoding thing for the song titles.
If you find the Monterrey performance of this song, you will see Dany breakdown, in response to the audience chanting her name in support. A very special moment.
Three nights before attending this concert, I was in front of Dany at the Auditorio Pabellon M in Monterrey, where she gave a very emotional performance of this song. There wasn't a dry eye in the place.

Is that when they were recorded for the album or when they were written? Because they were are Berklee in 2015, and we know from Dany that she wrote When I'm Alone at Berklee.
