Honestly, either LeBlanc is really ice or she isn’t THAT powerful, yeah still very powerful but seeing how she hasn’t killed Vladimir, even when he was weak means she is either too weak to destroy him or he is too strong for her
@@otako8255 I mean he have the Darkin blood magic, if he have blood/flesh to build/work he can reforge himself always , only the void or the Black Mist can kill Vladimir, cuz void brings oblivion or in another words erase your existence and the Mist will consume your soul. LB is mysterious and i think she see Vlad as a good ally. PS: Mention to Global runes, and Aatrox sword, they can kill Vlad too.
@@victoralves3368 well yes and no, how do you think other Darkin died to each other, they can still die, Vladimir is still part human meaning if you shot him in the head he would die, if I went to Aatrox back when he was still a mortal Darkin and sliced his head off he is dead. He isn’t just blood, he is still mortal
@@otako8255 It wasn't all Darkin who practiced blood magic, and if you notice only the Darkin who practiced it like Aatrox, Varus, Rhaast were sealed, because they were too strong, as long as there was flesh and blood they would use to heal themselves, so I believe that only Void, the Black Mist, and things like other ascendants because they were forged by celestial magic, and runes can kill Vlad. Only Vlad's mind is mortal, so he asks to paint portraits of him at different times so that he doesn't forget.
@@stamatistsikrikis1228 I can agree on Swain, but Kled and Ezreal are too dumb. Swain is incredibly smart, so Is LeBlanc. They could figure it out, Kled and Ez just exist
In an old lore entry about "the black rose" it says "The magician goes down the stairs behind the secret door in the immortal bastion. He is in a large room with many other people who are all veiled. [...] They stand in a circle and Leblanc steps in the middle. She selects a person from the circle and calls them over. Leblanc hands the young (female) magician her scepter and her diadem. The moment her diadem is removed, the skin of Leblanc transforms into that of an old woman. The young magician puts on the diadem and takes the zephter in her hand and her face changes into that of Leblanc. The old woman says to her 'The black rose blooms once more' and then she dies. " I love this story. orginally its 3 Pages long but this is the tl:dr
So rather, there's the idea of Leblanc that passes from person to person. She may not be a single individual but rather the manifestation of entity in the jeweled headband?
@@alkaliaurange the lore is discontinued, but basically yes. With the power of the headdress she "possessed" the most dedicated person, and made them the matron. They'd remain youthful and look like leblanc, even if the physical were old and ugly
I suddenly had a thought. What will happen if the Watchers finally break through right as Mordekasier is at full power? I wanna see a huge Metal Man blasting metal in the background while brawling with a mega Watcher in the middle of a blizzard.
I just noticed the absolute genius of her two splasharts and im just amazed at Riot's art team : In her level one splash we see LeBlanc in the middle of a round table in what looks to be a political debate of some sort, with a Black Rose sigil engraved on the table, surrounded by other people debating, LeBlanc is looking confidently into us as if she's in absolute control of this debate, In her level two splash we get to see the twist, it shows the reflection on that same round table, judging by the same rose symbol, and here we can see the genius of the art team, those people that we thought were normal political figures were actually Leblanc's clones, which she uses to deceive the political landscape of Runeterra, hence her title : The Deceiver.
LeBlanc: "I am the only thing standing between Noxus and Mordekaiser" Swain: "I'll help you get rid of him if you want" LeBlanc: "No fuck you I want to play 8-D chess and be a cult. This is the most rational solution to this issue."
I think it’s funny that she is probably powerless against morde. Her one plan (that we know about) was a glorified magnet. I can’t wait until (they might not but, oh well) he returns.
8:30 the woman with the facepaint in the Black Rose Spy card art resembles Liandry’s mask the mask is teased to be a relic from the Shadow Isles, a place that the Black Rose has sent people to to get powerful artifacts (see Elise), so maybe she’s wearing the mask? or an imitation of it?
I feel like there is a possibility of LeBlanc being a fallen ascended, or Targonion or something of the sort. Kinda like Pantheon (maybe...?) and she is trying to appeal to the thing that gave her her powers or something like that
i think there is a chance that this is true, ascended werent always about physical prowess, some of the ascended who didnt appear when the aspect of change caused most of them to turn into darkins, could have somehow escaped or hid themselves. This also supports the interaction with vladimir and her surviving this long. It would be really cool if lb happens to be rhaasts subordinate from the past, the one that was described as some1 with scales(pic of shurima) just maybe. What you wrote though is very probable imo.
if she was targonion or shuriman she wouldnt be worried about morde. the watchers/void are a way bigger issue to worry about so she would focus all her spy shit on that
5:34 wouldn't it also mean they likely use the same technique to stay 'alive' for centuries? If my memory serves me right lissandra is immortal because she can insert her consciousness in somebody. And since LeBlanc can possess people she most likely does the same thing.
if she is "playing 8d chess" since she manipulates everyone and everything what is Mordekaiser playing ? since he essentially predicted his own betrayal by her hand and made it part of his grand design ?
Or LeBlanc recruited the poor guy with promises of power, but really only needed someone to serve as sacrifice to Vilemaw, so Elise would bring her some necromantic artifacts from the Shadow Isles in exchange.
Leblanc does give Elise sacrifices to keep herself youthful though, that’s their entire pact, Elise brings powerful artifacts and knowledge from the Shadow Isles, and Leblanc gives Elise sacrifices to retain her beauty
I really hope that LeBlanc doesnt get her powers from a demon or something, i think that ruins the coolest part of her (atleast for me). wich is that she manipulated everyone to get more and more artifacts and power to eventually conrtol the entirety of noxus without them even knowing it. if the reason she could do that was because of a demon i think it ruins her quite a bit :(
That and it would be kinda counterproductive for an order of spies and people with political power to have a member of hulking proportions to attract unwanted attention...
I don't think LeBlanc possesses people but rather marks them and takes their memories. LeBlanc in her story talks about how one of her mirror images is looking tired and she needed to "fix them later." And in one of her interactions when the enemy summons another LeBlanc she says "another clone gone rogue". Now I think this is important is because Swain's demon let's him steal a soul fragment and take all their secrets. However, because LeBlanc's clones don't have a soul and are just magical constructs Swain most likely can't learn anything from them. So basically you have a LeBlanc mirror image who can pretend to be a noble with the mind of The Deciever that can't have secrets gleaned from taking positions in Noxian politics and this adds an extra layer to the battle of wits Swain and LeBlanc are having
About the mimic spell: Also interesting that the Solari see the Moon's light as "Fake Light" perhaps, as a mimic of the sun's light. Also the inner Moon has two slits in it. At first it reminded me of Diana's hair tie things, but i don't think that is it (she has three of them, not two).
The setting for the card at 8:48 is almost definitely Noxus. It's likely that they have hideouts all over Runeterra, but the man in the back looks way too much like Swain for it to not be him, which would lead me to believe it's in Noxus. With Swain trying to take down the black rose, I'm surprised his presence at one of their hideouts wasn't mentioned... then again, this is about LeBlanc. o.o
i mean , this is a little obvious taht she is not a demon , as we know fidlesticks call every demons by there name , and he don't do it with Leblanc , but maybe a day fidlesticks will tell us something about her.
not all minotaurs are ripped and huge they have some art of some more reasonably proportioned ones I believe. but definitely weird. maybe its a disguise?
I hope so! Either way, since the males are portrayed as much, much bigger and taller than humans, so should the females. Otherwise they'd get crushed...
well, there's a thing called sexual dimorphism... where males can look radically different from females. Real-life sexual dimorphism is even more extreme than what we often see in fantasy.
The statement about the female minotaur or whatever she might be and the size comparison reminded me of the reconker couple from the Noxus cards. I imagine they're noy physically capable either, seeing as she's about as big as his forearm.
Leblanc is everything, Leblanc is the fridge you stare post midnight looking for something interesting to eat Leblanc is your loyal dog who makes you company, at all times. Leblanc is that bird that always sings on the tiles of the Roof Leblanc is the people who share their lives with you Leblanc is the person you trust the most Leblanc are your clothes that embrace your body Leblanc are your Thoughts Leblanc is Everyone thoughts, Everyone thinks of Leblanc We are Leblanc, Leblanc, is us
The crimson Bloodletter would be a cool little legend or runeterra pet to have. probably more on the runeterra then little legends do to it having blood in it stomach.
Am the only one how notice the palid hand on the level up version of LeBlanc? She doesn't look so palid in her artwork, but when it's from this perspective she sees her self palid. Is this meaning that we never seen the real Leblanc and we only khow the version of her that her want show?
"Of two golden crowns, one bears tarnish." "-and now we wait." - This is totally alluding to her successfully assasinating King Jarvan (tarnished gold crown), while the young Jarvan IV (gold crown) still lives to rule Demacia. She is now waiting for the civil war to start which is insane how she pretty much manipulates every world event.
Beginning to wonder if the mist is really working for Viego, or if the mist was caused by the ruination because it opened a rift to the realm beyond allowing the souls which Morde said the world beyond "Instead, Sahn-Uzal stood in an empty, gray wasteland, shrouded by ethereal fog and plagued by discordant whispers. Occasionally, other lost souls drifted nearby-little more than ghostly shapes, wandering their own personal oblivion." This fog in Morde's bio seems like the mist which engulfed the shadow isles, the souls likely gained some power to manifest from the fog because of both the spell Viego tried to use and the artifacts that were sealed on the isles. The stronger entities that have a idea of self were alive at the beginning of the ruination, much like "His will, tempered by rage and torment, held him together. Over time, the unknowable, disembodied whispering in that place crystalized into words he could almost comprehend-this, he learned, was Ochnun, a profane tongue unspoken by any among the living. Slowly, a deceitful plan began to form in what was left of Sahn-Uzal’s mind. He began to whisper temptations across the veil between realms, promising his indomitable strength to any who dared listen." in Morde's bio this mention of a a strong will or a singular drive allowing those that have died not to be consumed by the mist, but to still hear the voices in it gradually grinding away at their sanity and eventually them fading into it. It is likely that Morde can influence Viego and other shadow isle denizens by using his connection to the fog to slowly manipulate them into helping him return. The fog and the mist are likely one and the same and Morde has molded the other realm even being able craft souls into objects or prevent souls from fading, although these souls then become bound to him, there are way to many similarities between Viego's power over the mist and Morde's ability over the other worlds fog and both their control over spirits
For the size difference, there’s a lot of animals and species in nature, where one gender is wayyyyy larger than the other. So maybe it comes from that
Now do other cards like Swain, Soraka, Viktor, Zoe or any other expansion cards that add later please? It's been a years now and we haven't got any videos about them.
@@Poketom-ob1dl Thank you for explanation. To be honest he should have address that for a long time now so some people will not be left hanging and wondering if the videos will come out.
Its always possible that Thorn of the Rose might be on a mission to not eliminate a certain target (which would explain why in censored version they didn't hesitate to show that the person is alive) but to rather place a gem on them (the ring) which would then allow LeBlanc to control or influence them.
For the cards Throne of the Rose a dev came out and said she is a Minotaur but she looks skinny because she is a follower of LeBlanc and they wanted them to have low health high attack and thats why she is a 3/1 in game. Is this the trope you were worried about yes, but they said they do have other female Minotaurs that won't look so skinny.
This is btw not the first time LB has been connected to the moon. Tifalenji was told to "watch the moon", and she did. “Watch the moon.” Suddenly there was a pulse of light, reflecting cold and silver against the floor. “See its course, how it turns.”
I don't know/forgot the other lore so maybe I'm wrong but maybe Leblanc is the one who helped morde to build his physical metal form but as soon as she learned that she can't control morde she stop helping him and now the one who keeps morde from returning to the noxus that's why she said to Lissandra that they're kinda similar... :/
I love how leblanc is one of the most influential beings on runeterra, she may even be Runeterra’s antagonist as a whole they can tell me she manipulated every major event in history and I will believe it
Something interesting that I noticed is that Le Blanc's hair in League is violet, whilst in LoR it is blue with aquamarine highlights. I'm not sure why that is, but it is there.
