It seems zennor parish had 6 chapels back in the 1800s, but by 1880 as the mines closed and miners moved away the chapels closed. Leaving only the one in zennor village. Believe this one is the new lady downs chapel, the old one is near by. So may be that is what the other derelict building is an not a cottage. Drone footage is stunning! They have proved that some of the Cornish hedges hear are older than the piramid’s Interesting video mate 👍
Correction on last comment ! This chapel is tregerthen bible christian chapel. In existence 1833 and closed eventually in 1918. Had seating for 135 people. And was sold after closed. May be that’s why it’s had some remedial work on it to keep it standing.
Probably,,, Methodist ??,,, the derelict cottage we saw they would have worshipped in that chapel but where did the rest of the Congregation come from?? Going by the drone coverage, whoever they were had one hell of a walk tough lot our ancestors mark had to be eh,,,,,,Ed
