Ob eigene Lieder oder Cover, bei meinen Live Sessions singe ich alles, was mir Spaß macht. In Hinblick auf meinen Auftritt beim Classic Open Air 2017 (First Night- Film&Musical) probiere ich schon mal welches große Film-Theme mir besonders liegt. Heute präsentiere ich euch Barbra Streisands "The way we were" (written by Marvin Hammlisch, Alan Bergman and Marilyn Bergman), aus dem gleichnamigen Film von 1973.

Guter Promo- Titel, mit dem Ella Endlich als sehr vielseitige Künstlerin zeigen kann, was noch in ihr steckt. Nach DSDS 2018 wünsche ich ihr den ganz großen Karriereschub, den sie mehr als verdient hat !

Stimmt, Barbara war special, aber covern, the way we were oder Wihout you v. Nilsson/Carey oder gar Greatest love of all v. G.Benson/Whitney Houston ist, WOW. Toll u. wahnsinnig gut gesungen, Ela fiel mir bei the masked singer auf !!! Klasse, Kompliment Ela !! Well done !

Ganz wunderbar, wie du dein Instrument zu gebrauchen weißt, Ella. Vom feinsten, sanften Flüstern bis zur Fanfare... Ich würde mich über ein englisches Album sehr freuen. Es ist noch mal ein anderes Erleben deiner Stimme. Schön, dass es dich gibt. Ich liebe deine Musik, sie begleitet mich überall hin, seit ich sie für mich entdeckt habe 🥰👌

German is a very unmusical language and most people sound like they've got a mouthful of nails when they sing in it. Ella is such an accomplished singer that she manages to avoid this. However, I do agree with you, another English album would be very welcome.

Our German and Austrian girl writers tell us that ELLA ENDLICH is an East-German-born homosexual, who currently lives in the gay, immigrant section of Berlin. Is this true? - if so, should she be allowed to have a visa to travel to the USA?

This is impressive - but it is hard for Americans and others in the English-speaking world to know what to make of it. After all, we grew up with the original version - done by Barbra Streisand. She was, of course, an American legend - and it is difficult for anyone to reprise a legendary singer - especially when English is not their first language. Ella Endlich has a great voice and a great vocal range - and if anyone in Europe could do this - she could. But I'm just not sure what to say. I have contacted several of my writers in the USA and UK to solicit their opinions. We will report what they say: chicagoschlager.blogspot.com/
