the beginning of this episode makes me crack up every time! Adam: "Mary, I want you to hear me out without any interuptions." Mary: "certainly." Adam: "I have to go to the post office." lol and then adam: "the school is getting way to crouded and I think you should give up your room." Mary: "and go where??" Adam: "to my room" Mary: "Adam Kendall that's not funny!" later Mary says "that's the most rediculous proposal I've ever heard" Adam: "I should've went to the post office." lol!
Actually, the real-life Mary Ingalls did die unmarried and without children. After studying at the blind school, she lived with her parents and one of her sisters (not Laura) for the rest of her life. Please remember that the TV series (which I love, and is a wonderful show) is not very historically accurate.
mary is about 16 and charles let her get married and adam is just as older then her as almanzo is to laura but he wanted her to wait till she was 18 maybe its cuz mary is more mature and older and he still sees laura as a little girl

I echo every thing thats been said, thanks for being a good poster. The episodes are complete and they are of good quality. Its almost like watching it on TV.
Mrs. Olsen suggesting a clock for a blind couple ... Ma: I was thinking of something a bit more ... practical. Mrs. Olsen: Ah yes ... I understand perfectly you can't afford it. Hahaha(:
@Lindsay980 I'm really glad I found you and by previous comments I can know this will be the whole episode. I saw this wedding episode posted by someone else. They cut all the best parts out!!!!!!!!!!! I love this one for Mary's fear of raising a sighted child and the storm. Thanks for keeping them intact.
Adoro estes filmes. Mas gostaria como tantos outros que fossem dublados. Aí sim eu os assistiria com muito prazer! Assim não tem como! Desculpe mas sem dublagem não dá para assistir!
Interesting that in this day and age if ma and pa had left their kids alone for weeks at a time, they would be hauled into jail for child abuse/abandonment. Ah to live in a simpler time...
