MIND BLOWING VOICE!! take note kids this is 60 years ago, no autotune, no pitch correction, no special electronic gadgets just PURE NATURAL TALENT!!! 👌
I had this song as I walked down the isle less than 3 years ago. My mum wants it played at her funeral. What a lovely song. Miss you and love mum for Always. Xxxxx
Right on man that's so great to hear something like that and I'm happy for you two ☺️👍🤗 Hoping to get married next February .. to my love if this covid thing goes away I hope soon ..it's keeping us apart it's very hard ....
I have always thought this was one of the most beautiful songs that has ever been recorded. I still have a 45 rpm record of it. I had it played at my wedding when I got married in 1995.
I grew up listening to this song. My grandma had the single and I played it over and over and over. When I got married I played this at my wedding. Just as I had always wanted to. Whenever I hear this I see myself sitting in front of my grandma's radio/record player and I have to smile
Incredible talent, beauty, and performance! 1962? She made somebody angry. She should’ve been a superstar. She was still performing in 2010! And stunning, too. For a live take this is as good as it gets!
I don't consider my self as being old fashioned, but I absolutely have adored this song since I was a kid. Haven't heard it in ages and it's one of those songs that stick in your head and you find yourself humming it without knowing.
Omg I love this song it backs memories my sister iris worked on a farm & there was a lady living in a small cottage & i heard this song on her radio i was only 7yrs old now I've downloaded it on phone 📱 ❤ ♥
Thank you for saying that, Julie Rogers and singers in 1960s (and before) nailed it. But this beautiful ballad affects me still because it was sung with warmth, anticipation and perfect enunciation. It warms my heart. Julie deserved top billing, not sure if she ever got it .
I love this song, and I love Julie Rogers.....I remember when this song first came out in 1964 I was in the US Air Force, I still can't get enough of this song or Julie Rogers....today is 2015....my all time favorite...I was in Taiwan a few years back for a wedding and this song was played...but with Mona Fong...and she also does a great job....
one of the most beautifullll voices and I loved her at 13 years old, awesome in the 60s, and my kids have followed in that step, music, and the band etc
My first elder sister used to sing this song and she recorded in cassette tape by night. I knew because of her quiet voices when I later played her song, now I grow up and her voices still in my memory so she made me love this song very much. Every time I've heard this song, I think of the very old day when I was young. I've to thank you her, she sang when she studied in Commercial school in Ayutthaya city of Thailand.
Yes indeed. The world is beautiful for you to enjoy. The lost one is temporary. One day in God's time you or we will join her. Stay happy. Keep praying. It works.
This is a remarkable song, and performed by one of the greats of the 50’s. Beautiful, talented, with a big voice, pitch perfect, and dramatic! What a performance! Thanks for your compassionate song about love and marriage. Sorry to hear about your husband in ‘18. He was kind and well liked. ✝️❤️🌞
This was the song i dreamt of and loved and wanted it played at my wedding to the man of my dreams. We chose a different song, but this is my favourite and always will be! We went with Moon River, that was a song the band who played at our wedding knew and they did do a marvellous job! I still love this song the best though!
This is a very beautiful powerful love song for the wedding as it was named. The wedding song. A great brilliant song from many years back and still as great and brilliant today. The song for those weddings as to what they do really mean. For those who are and those who are still to be and those who like me can only dream.
I have known of this most heartfelt and beautiful wedding songs ever written, by Connie Francis, my personal favorite singer. But only in Italian & Spanish. I recall hearing this once or twice on the radio in 64 but heard nothing from Julie Rogers since.
Wow, what a voice! It's always nice to see a younger, accomplished person. I guess there's young ones around today that can sing, but I don' think they sounds like this. It's hard to believe we once listened to this popular music on AM radio.
I have never hear of her Julie rogers and the song..its beautiful. ..she has a wonderful voice. ..those are real songs...these raps are not songs..those are just words degrading women...those songs has no substance. ..all of those old songs are so profound and beautiful. ..wish they can write and sings songs like the 50s and 60'S. .....you cant beat that.....just beautiful
Yes world class no doubt in my mind at all and as a professional i can say with some conviction that i have rarely seen live singers in this country as good..all the best to Julie wherever she i....
Amazing, wonderful voice beautiful lady with class looking her best not feeling the need to strip on stage to captivate her audience, Her family / grandchildren if she has some can watch her performances and feel nothing but pride.
I remember this beautiful music at my mother's wedding anniversary. I was a young lad but it has stayed with me ever since. My mother passed away 2 years ago. I am nearing 70 now, but what gorgeous memories I have of her.
its so nice to see a beutifull lass, singing a beutifull song, with out a bunch of dancers pancing about, singing is about singing.and this lass does it well
I was 10-13 year old in the mid 1960's. What a wonderful time for all types of music. I remembered TV shows like Ed Sullivan, Hollywood Palace, Shindig, Hullabaloo and so many more featuring such a variety of great artists, bands, and tunes. Yes I even remembered this beautiful song for some reason today. I don't know why I thought of this one as I am 65 years old and never married. But we get to keep our dreams until we die, Right?
I love this song, and i was very young when it first came out. I was a romantic even then and thought i would love this song sang at the church for my wedding, to the man i would love forever, a girl can dream!, Very romantic hey! Things change and hubby and i agreed for the 1st dance as husband and wife the band would play Moonriver, i love that as well, from the movie Breakfast at Tiffanys. I was and still am a romantic at heart, love all love songs.
After sixty years this affects me still - perfect intonation and a powerful voice from a beautiful young woman who deserved top billing, like Dusty and Shirley. Thank you so much Julie for the music, also jayanthaism1 for posting this. Memories are SO precious.
