When The Weeknd first hit the scene, What You Need was the runaway winner initially for most listened to song.

Party and the after party is actually my favorite song on the album maybe it grows on you also some of the songs on this tape are missing samples listen to the RU-vid version like Coming Down has a anime fate stay night sample, What u Need had a Aliyah Rock the boat sample it adds to the record

Seeing a live performance of House of Balloons/Glass Table Girls really made me appreciate that song a lot more. As always, killer breakdown.

This is definitely a project to vibe to, meant to be enjoyed front to back on headphones or in the car. Virtually no shuffle value, but that’s part of what I love about it

The trilogy version of Coming Down makes me so upset in that they had to cut the anime sample from the instrumental section near the end of the track, making it a bit repetitive. House of Balloons is an excellent project especially given when it was made, but I think people overrate it a bit too much. Echoes of Silence is my personal favorite of the Trilogy and one of my favorite projects of all time. The songwriting and production is so much tighter than the previous two mixtapes.

glad you reacted to this man, some of the tracks hit you harder the more you listen for sure, only track that drags on for too long was the after party. Happy you pointed out some of the cons, can’t wait till you react to Thursday! (My favorite part of the trilogy)

These are one of the projects that grow on you my first three listens I didn’t get the genius of this project it grows on you

Kissland also has some really long songs but they are definitely bangers. I can't wait to see the rest of trilogy

Also just a touch of feedback, your voice comes through a little off with some echo. That said still loved the video, liked and subbed 👍🏻 And if you’re interested there’s a version on RU-vid of What You Need titles What You Need(Unreleased Version) not sure if it’s a remix or actually unreleased but I like that version a bit better.
