I don't think he's cheating on her, I think they love eachother and are possibly exes, but he's not as in love with her as when they were dating. I feel the distance is what seperates them and as humans we need certain things and I feel love, acceptance, and to not feel lonely. I feel as though the seperation due to Abel's Job allows Abel and "Valerie" to fall into their temptation. I feel they both know that they fell to whatever their weekness may have been.
