The weird world of fake Amiibo's 

I bought a set of 24 cards for botw and they work great

I feel like I am ripping Nintendo off if I buy knockoff amiibo cards, but after this video I might just consider getting some in card form to take on the go. Also, yeah it is really easy to make knockoff amiibo because if you have an RFID reader/writer, you just have to know what the amiibo's code is, then it can basically be mass-produced. I might have done a little research on this topic 🤣

See, if an Amiibo is still being sold by Nintendo, I am willing to buy at MSRP, but half of the time, when I try to buy one that I want (freaking Joker and Hero amiibo), they are sold out and not in stock. I am willing to buy fake amiibos if either a. the original amiibo is not in stalk anymore b. this clone has a custom design or figurine Because I honestly think amiibo are amazing. The toys-come-to-life games were great but outlasted their welcome because they only worked for a specific game. The only two that I have seen beat this type of toys-to-life exhaustion was Lego dimensions figures and amiibo. Lego dimensions was much like amiibo as it had something for everyone and was up there with smash bros in terms of crossover breakthroughs.

Personally, Amiibos are a two-in-one thing for me. Officially licensed Nintendo figurines and in-game reward function. Great video once again. I would love to see you guys look more into knockoff video game items. Such a cool idea!
