This reminds me of the English version of an online card game called Shadowverse. The whole thing is infested with various mythological references, from Pazuzu to judeo-christian archangels to Greek mythology to Quetzalcoatl. Anyway, in the Japanese/Korean/other European languages, there's a card quite explicitely called "Satan". In the English version, though, they went with the more euphemistic "Prince of Darkness". I think there's something similar with a card called "Heavenly Aegis" in English, which, iirc, is "God's Shield" or something to that effect in other languages. The weird thing is, they're fine with Zeus, including his summoning phrase "I am the Father, the God of All", so they aren't actually consoring the term "God" itself.

yeah thats a massive problem in most games. some characters are made to either not care about their clothing, or want to be light/nimble, and censorship removes the immersion, people (mostly twitter) will always try to make the case of ,,immersion isnt that important, and u are a perv'' but thats BS, assasins/rogues in video games cant have 50 kilos of armor, or some accesories like ,,boob bandage'' and still have the immersion. i dont remember the game, but there was this girl that was suicidal, she didnt care if she died as long as she pulled someone with her, and she had a loose T and some shorts, and she was .... busty i guess. and the company was forced to completely change her appearance, clothing wise and... genetically

Ehm... I don't think universally applying the "more clothed is better" is the right way, either. Looking at the Janna example, she takes on a human form, but she is a wind spirit, and thus distinctly inhuman, what does she care about fashion or modesty? Without getting into better ways her design could show this, the scanty suit is odd and shows a lack of social awareness beyond "Ma'am, you'd best cover those up because... well just because!" But what does the more clothed version we see here do to communicate her character? It's just the uncannily scanty suit made longer, which makes it less of both. The extra material doesn't even look like it allows any airflow, like at all. Looking at the obvious example of the other side... yeah, Ashe needs to be wrapped in at least a couple layers of furs and leather, and adding anything to her outfit is a step in the right direction.

That's why Leona is one of my favorite champions design-wise. There was so much effort put into the design, and where a lot of champions lack personality due to Riot pushing for more sex-appeal, they could instead use clothing in better ways for characters whose personalities suit it well. Ofc Evelynn, who's literally a sex-demon, isn't gonna have normal clothing, but someone like Janna has a whole lot of missed design opportunities.

Worst thing is, if you do feel uncomfortable because of how you're viewed due to your sexuality, LGBT support communities are 100% a thing that exist. But because of the way the LGBT movement is presented online by idiots it discourages people from seeking said support out. Probably doesn't help that it's quite likely to also draw in people who just wanna virtue signal.

We know for a fact that all communities and units of social organization have their dark and bright side. We cannot deny that, in fact we must be critical of those negative aspects like you are. But we should never fall into that vicious circle of exerting oppression because you are in a position to be able to do so. If it wasn't for the organization and mobilization of the ever evolving LGBTQ+ communities around the world, being anything but heterosexual would be punished with torture and death in the majority if not all countries. Same as most historically oppressed groups who struggled and continue to struggle to this day. The community mainly serves and strives to be shelter and a safe space for people that have been abandoned, relegated, disowned, marginalized, impoverished, homeless, ill, forgotten, afraid or they just feel like they aren't validated as a person. I used to think like you, i felt like the actions and people in the community didn't represent me or i didn't want to be represented or associated to them. What is true is that we still shared a single characteristic of not conforming to hetero-normativitiy. I understood that i was a human being trying to exist as i was, just like all of them. I knew i couldnt let myself be an obstacle for the community to keep protesting, demanding the recognition of human rights, to continue to be a reminder to all people that non-heteronormative people exist everywhere in the world and that they are humans too. One last thing, about the politicization of sexualities, gender identity and gender expression. They were first politicized by the structure of oppressive heteronormativity who decided to outlaw them or institutionally declare it unholy, unnatural, indecent, queer, to call it an illness. The struggle is against the politicization of all of it, to finally recognize the humanity of all and put that matter to rest while ensuring no person could go unaccounted for trying to oppress others because of their humanity. And what Riot voluntarily did wasnt just pandering, because no single corporation is a guardian of human dignity, it was a gesture to say "we see you, we know you are here, we know you exist". Just that.

The word "community" is defined by the fact that their elements interreact and are interdependent on the regular, and this has never really been the case with L, G, B or T. You are also completely and ridiculously wrong about being punished as such. Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual couples have existed as long as written history has been available, and only on rare occasion have they seen any manner of persecution. The reason this is a commonly held belief is simply of practice and prestige when it comes to royals. Even if a ruler was gay, it was part of his duty to marry and have children. I can not believe how vehemently you argue for an existence of a community that objectively does not exist. An average gay guy has absolutely nothing in common with an average FtM for instance. There is no "LGBT Community", if you have gender dysphoria and you seek help, you will find help in specifically trans communities, never the others... and honestly i'm not convinced they offer the best help either. Lol. Hetero-normativity is just objective reality, the fact that my mind is wired in a way that does not feel attraction to the opposite sex in particular is an abnormality. There is nothing inherently wrong about an abnormality, as i'm also abnormally tall(among a number of other abnormalities), at around 207cm. Both of these characteristics are (largely) immutable. I will never understand how people who identify as "LGBT+whatever" keep insisting that they're "normal", they're not, and to me at least that should be part of the charm. Also on hetero-normativity, i'm more than happy to inform you that most people suffering from gender dysphoria are straight, so they have even less to do with the L,G,B than most think. It should also be noted that the amount of protests and showcases the LGBT movements have is overall at this point damaging to any point they want to make. Characterizing heteronormativity as "oppressive" is literally nothing more than tilting at windmills. The so-called struggle in recent years is anything but against struggle against politicization of it, as these kinds of opinions are expressed almost exclusively by a fringe minority of politics. Every person who believes in the opinions that you are telling me will not only land in the same quadrant of the political compass, but in the same tiny area. It is also *very* common to hear the (more often than not) untruthful claim from these people of "i used to think like you...", this is a trick of the utmost simple psychology. What Riot did is explicitly pandering, and it qualifies for the complete definition of the word. What is so sad to me is that people who are, for a lack of better word, groomed into the belief that you share all spout practically identical lines, using identical words, and identical arguments that have next to nothing in common with reality. The words "marginalized", "hetero-normativity" and the terms "gender expression" and "gender identity" are never used in common parlance outside of the vehement believers of this doctrine. They are not dogwhistles, merely indicators of an ideology.

It’s funny how you refuse to call anything larger than a few people a community or any group by any measure at all, but i can understand why. But the thing i don’t understand is how you view being punished by whole countries and religions for not being heterosexual is not of common occurrence. we can talk about the historical penal codes of great britain, france, germany, the ussr. Few of the biggest imperialists and colonialists in history which transcended politically into the penal codes of their colonies and territories under imperial rule. Not only politically but throughout their societies, the culture, and religion. Heteronormativity is a structure, just like a hypothetical homonormativity would be if it existed. The oppression component is caused by its institutionalization. Yes, you said it. There is oppression even within the community because it has great diversity of human beings that have their own economic, social, cultural, and historical advantages in power and agency. That doesn’t mean the community doesn’t exist either. And yes, those differences also fragment the community. Still doesn’t mean it serves as a refuge for people with the same struggle. You talk about normality, in the biological and statistical sense of the word. You aren’t taking into account the societal weight and value added to the word natural. You should have said “im abnormal and there’s nothing wrong with it” a couple millennia ago so we wouldn’t be having this conversation today. But that’s the “objective reality”, normal also has a value judgement attached to it and being able to ignore it is a societal advantage. And for this last few paragraphs about ideology. I can’t understand why you don’t subscribe to a religious belief when you have all the characteristics that will make you benefit greatly from it. But i guess somewhere along the line you decided to believe in objective reality, just like any other absolutist belief. The argument of certain concepts or words not having any relevance or value by not being part of “common parlance” would apply to all sciences, disciplines, ideologies, any body of curated knowledge. I can’t really understand why your reasoning just abruptly stops in some lines of thought. The thing about “the community” while saying there is trans communities, recognizing the existence of diverse sexualities but not diverse gender identities and expression. Saying that being abnormal is not wrong while using royalty as an example of the possibility to have a free development of our own personalities. Saying that some words are invalid because they are only used by a particular group of people while using the concept of objective reality, which makes a lot of sense in your reasoning. I can’t understand why you claim there is an objective reality and you say you don’t believe in any religion.
