Answers to the questions about the E-Gun. What's a rail gun? It's basically a big tube full of magnets that rapidly turn on and off to get a piece of metal to go very fast. Think of it like when you put the 2 south ends of magnets together and they fly away, but with electricity, and fast enough to kill someone. Why's it a shotgun? The traditional definition for a shotgun is "a smooth bore weapon that's meant for close range use." Smooth bore means that the barrel doesn't have any rifling, and the E-Gun, to my knowledge, doesn't have any rifling, and is meant for close quarters use. It's also because it can fire its burst mode so fast, it's almost as if multiple projectiles came out at the same time, simulating buckshot.
Subsonic ammo can achieve a lot of force out of a short barrel. The point of the sr 3m is a very compact gun with a lot stopping power for its barrel length.

One little thing I don’t understand is why the gyrojets have such harsh drop off cuz I mean yknow the rockets are kinda gonna be accelerating themselves forward. No I’m not talking about muzzle velocity cuz that’s just the speed of the bullet when it exits the muzzle.
it's BECAUSE of the low muzzle velocity. Unlike conventional ammo being pushed out of the chamber for a bit, the Gyrojet rockets don't have that super pressurized explosion giving them energy and pushing them out so their initial drop off is huge because they're not moving nearly as fast as bullets. As they accelerate through the air, the tend to curve downwards because they've come out of the barrel at a slight downward angle due to not being fast enough. As it's not moving at supersonic speeds, it cannot 'nearly' disregard air resistance like conventional ammo and so the air resistance 'pushes' on the front of the already angled downwards accelerating rocket and forces it to go downwards hence it's terrible drop-off and muzzle velocity.

The ft300 is really good with the 6XC conversion with the heavy barrel, you barely have to aim above their head at any range because of how flat of a shot it is
