Such amazing storytellers 😂😂😂 even though it was a horrible experience

This brought tears to my eyes. They fit in some humor into the narration but you can feel the emotions, the rawness of the situation. Glad I watched it. We surely take being alive to see another day for granted.

I remember when i heard about the westgate thing, i was not understanding what was happening, i was miles away form Nairobi, but without knowing what was happening i went straight to my room, down on my knees on my carpet, i cried to the Lord like never before, for the souls inside the mall, God heard my prayer because many were rescued and i thank him up to date.

I like her statement, that their Daddy was armed with only a prayer when he went looking for them. The most powerful statement I have heard in a while, just like Queen Esther did, this gentleman was pushed only by the powers of a prayer. May the wonderful name of God be praised!

Elegance and resilience just oozes out naturally from the two ladies I have learnt a lot from them, but the main thing that struck me is how once you've gone through something that rocks you to the core, no matter what it is, someday you can look back and share it with ease

It is no mean fit to recount and recall the horrific and traumatizing details of that dreaded day; However, I thank God that through it all the blood of Jesus was upon you and those around you, and you lived to tell the tale of this grand testimony. Thank you God.

They are such great narrators but most importantly this is a story of hope, a story of life and a story of a second chance. A chance to live right, extend love, cherish others and thank God for what we term minor without knowing how priceless it is. I am in a loss for the right words.

Just a beautiful narration...love this two ladies. Reminds me of a day years back when someone raised the alarm of an armed robbery at my workplace...I looked around...everyone scampering&screaming. I was applying makeup at the time&by the look of things we were cornered...so what do i do...I continue applying makeup calmly as I prayed&told Jesus I am coming home beautifully that's if the robbers don't listen to my pleas. God gave me such calmness&it turned out to be a false alarm😆

Wow! What a story and a true testimony to how God works Annie and Sharon, I loved it. And I like the humour the two of you could see in it, which tells me that you were indeed comforted by the fact that you had God's angels protecting you and those you were with, in the midst of the tragedy and mortal danger you were facing. I just broke down and cried when you said you saw your dad coming in to look for the both of you, because I believe mine would do the same if I was faced with a similar situation. God bless. God is good and faithful, let us look to Him for help and lean on Him in good and in bad times. His grace is sufficient always.

You appreciate each and every moment you have with them,family is a true treasure. Trauma makes you understand others better and have true empathy.

It has brought memories of the day, I was on the 1st floor Dtb bank....going about my business and was finishing errands to go bring my niece to the kids party....but the attack happened .....I was evacuated @ 6:30.....
