Yes, indeed. R.C. Sproul was one of my teachers in seminary and I had already been listening to him some years before that. Imagine our surprise at the sem when John Gerstner came one time as a guest lecturer and we saw all those familiar mannerisms and speech patterns of which you spoke. It was a chicken or egg moment, for sure!

I think if you closed your eyes you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between him and RC! The way they hang on certain words, even the way they write on the blackboard 😂 is exactly the same! The way they taught the Gospel Will be forever remembered! RC The Holiness of God was one of the first books I read when leaving the JW cult and it helped me understand so much! Thank the Lord for people like John Gerstner, he must have helped so many people come to a understanding of the Gospel. The Holy Spirit truly working in him!

This most wonderful teacher & preacher would convince me instantaneously of becoming a Christian on the spot. No other expositor of the Word of God has the immense power and presence of spirit as Dr.Gerstner had. Now I see where our beloved R.C.Sproul got his zeal. God bless both of them for speaking the Truth. Amen 🙏

Decades ago, my children heard Dr Gerstner’s voice while driving around in the family van (hand out church history and handout theology) and were all able to do a growly, wheezy Gerstner impression.🥰

@@Tom30ad john was filled with the holy ghost. He prophesize to peter and thomas. They spoke in tongues one on to the other. Peter and thomas prayed and the spirit of the holy ghost was upon them. Jesus appeared and said to his disciples, come on to me for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. lololllol that is the true meaning of the new testement. lolol
