As a kid, I was brought up, probably like many many others "NOT TO TELL LIES." In these dreadful, dreadful times that we now find ourselves, "TELL LIES" or you will be silenced/cancelled, call it what you will, would seem to be the norm. I am certainly glad I was born when I was and have enjoyed "freedom" so to speak, I shudder to think where this is going next! What a clever way to shut down undesirable discussion, first incentivise people to go full time into "content creation" and then pull the rug if they post something undesirable. Apparently it is the 'Advertisers' who don't like that video; in my 70+ years on this plane censorship has ALWAYS been present in one form or another with good old MONEY being mostly the cause, not truth nor morality.

If enough of the bigger content creators would move to another platform, it wouldn't be long before they changed their tune. We keep moaning about everything they do, but we do nothing.
I agree Sean but it's because YT have a virtual stranglehold on monetised video content. Rumble, Odysee and Bitchute just can't compete and they are vilified by all the same bad actors/factcheckers etc so numbers are proportionately low.
Then the government will ban that alternative video platform, it's already on their agenda with the so-called Online Safety Act. The French, Brazilian and Russian governments have already done it.

Yes it's designed to be vague , this style of running social media platforms was trialled heavily in 2016 to 2018 using the "far right" as guinea pigs.. the end result being totally banned from mainstream platforms and sidelined into internet ghettos like odyssey

Yes and I regularly have to sit on the naughty chair and can’t post for a day or two. I’m used to it, I was thrown off of Twitter back in 2017 before most people were awake.
Some of mine disappeared immediately I'm on the algorithm blacklist. A few might reappear 10 minutes later but not many. I never use bad language or call people horrible names, unlike some posts I've had directed at me.

This is a good example as to why no one should rely on Google / RU-vid / Etsy / Amazon / eBay... etc, for their income. These companies have too much control on your output, whether it be a video, or a product you are selling.
Ignore any complaints about running inserted ads, you're more than entitled to and you deserve to be able to. More than that, we (your viewers) trust you. That's worth more than any ad you can run, we know that if you're going to endorse something, you genuinely believe in it and you're not being bought.

Oh please Geoff “Don’t do an E-Bike review” !! …. I have a camper van and all the van channels I subscribe to are littered with E- Bike reviews. I don’t have a problem with them, in fact would love one. But right now we are all just fatigued by them and certainly don’t need a car channel advertising them as well!!

Don't lose your spirit Geoff. The video on question was really good. Maybe the viewers would have been less harsh if the ad wasn't for a powdered energy drink. A Battery charger review etc may have aised less eyebrows. Keep up the good work.
I got a small Chinees diesel heater for the shed. It doesn't heat the shed up a lot but it does make the difference between not wanting to go to the shed to work on the car, and getting on with it in a reasonable fashion. Unfortunately I've been saying to my son how car culture is rapidly dying.. We still do some gravel rally events with our car, but the entry field has fallen of so bad that events are now being cancelled, dew to lack of numbers. Car shows are like a geriatric outing, with there being nearly as many mobility scooters as cars. I used to watch Johnny Smith 's Barn Finds, but then he got all EVanglistic, so I left him a comment, stating my views and why I would no longer be watching his videos ( As I thought he might like so feed back ) Surprisingly he replied, and it was as polite as the algorithm would allow, with out getting taken down...But there was now doubt which side of the fence he was proudly sitting/shouting from...
