Never have i ever seen my mother cry in my entire life. This song made her remember her mother (died of cancer) in some way i couldn't have suspected it when i showed it to her. I often listen to this song when I feel down, and miss my parents❤️ My father never met my son, because he died of a heart attack right in front of me when I was 10. That's 31 years ago❤️ 3 year ago my mother died after a hemorrhage in her brain😔 She barely got to meet my son. He was 2 years old at that point she passed away. I never had grandparents my self, because of their bad health. Yeah, my family was hard working fishermen and hard working women. So, I envy you people who still have your family around. Take care friends ❤️

Just saw the White Buffalo at Cargo in London - he's as good live as I expected him to be - exquisite. Simply put he is as good as it gets - absolute legend. My wife got a pic with him outside - classy guy. Love you Buffalo you're the best - songs, heart and soul.

Listening to this in the Netflix Waco documentary as they pull dead and dying servicemen out of the compound is just heartbreaking. They really couldn’t have used any other song. Hauntingly beautiful.

It's Jockos fault I've listened to this song 10 times in two days.

What always fascinated me about professional singers is how they are able to get through songs like this. I mean how on earth do you pull off the 'mother, tried to behave for you, now im a diggin a grave for you, it was all i could do' part without your voice breaking? My throat always feels like its made of solid rock when he gets to that part even when im not trying to sing along.
