Everyone in this show is so frustrating and Armond is my favorite to watch unravel because of all the insanity. Also the score in this show does an excellent job at building the tension at such a steady pace that I feel my body clench as it's progressing the scene

I really really want to spend one day in Mike White's brain. What an absolute genius writer. Not to mention his directing, acting and producing. The acting and writing are great. Molly Shannon plays this perfectly imo. So many wealthy mothers/in-laws are played to an overdone stereotype but from my experience her portrayal far more accurate.

It's interesting how little attention Quinn gets from his family and the comments here, also in the YT videos. That's exactly how neglected children are treated. I'm not sure if he's being molded into the scapegoat role, but he's definitely a truth-teller.

I watch all kinds of gross, graphically violent and scary horror movies but this series terrifies me. All these overly dramatic, unaware, annoying and entitled people are the stuff of my nightmares. I work in the service industry and unlike the ghouls and demons in the horror movies, these monsters are very real.

I have a theory that Rachel is going to be the one that dies but that she’s been accidentally killed by Armond. I feel like Armond will get pushed so far that he like poisons a drink for Shane but she drinks it by accident.

@@aaronweeks3585 very true!! I really cannot help but to constantly feel bad for her. she seems like the only genuine one at that resort. I see her as more of a character than a caricature, while with the other characters it is rather opposite. I can see myself knowing someone like Rachel in real life. The others I just feel are so privileged that I don’t think that I could ever surround myself with any people like that😂

I'm only watching this for Alexandra Doddario. I guess it's entertaining? But half the show is just images of Hawaii with music and im having trouble seeing the point of the show

I think if you're only watching this for Alexandra you're almost bound to be a little bored. Her character's one of the very few relatively stable people in this whole story. I'd say the point of the show is the absolute batshit craziness that's going on almost everywhere else.
