Eh, I actually agree. I used Kingsoul, Grubsong, Grubberfly's Elegy, and Long Nail if I recall correctly.. though I remember swapping out Kingsoul for Deep Focus and Long Nail for Mark of Pride after a while now that I think of it.

I remember I found it by an accident because I hit the Shade Soul button instead of the jump button and my Shade Soul flew off the screen. A second later I heard the secret found sound and I was like "What...? There are hidden shortcuts here...?" I'm *so* glad I found this tunnel lol
I love the white palace and the path of pain, because I love platforming... I only hate the part on 3:30 and I spend over 8h on it..... AND I COULD HAVE SKIPPED IT !!!!

I’m so mad that I didn’t know you could sit on the throne when I first did this. I was just so excited to slap the king and leave I didn’t even notice.
There was a shortcut there?! Also holy crap I hadn't considered dashmaster being useful here mostly it got me killed dashing down by accident almost every damn time.
3:29 made me scream, I was using the hive blood charm so after every hit by the damn tunnel of spikes I had to wait to get back to full health, I hated that part of the white palace
To the right of Ancient Abyss is the White Palace, you need the monarch's wings. The bee palace is in Kingdom's Edge, Heading east, they will come across a wall patrolled by a few stray Hivelings
I didn't know you could attack down on a buss saw to jump, when I did this so at 1:50 with the last spike platform I had to jump on that at the correct time and use the monarch wings to get to the platform above..... I wanna die

It takes you to 0:43, then there's a skip at the raising spear platforms where if you go up and right on the last one you can skip the section on the left
Fun Fact! At 5:33 if you climb to the very top of the wall without touching the spikes(Its very precise you have to just be barely not touching it)you can use the crystal blast and then double jump to get to the wall above you to the left and skip that small part. :D
In any other area, I'm good at finding the secrets. But in there, I was so upset and dying that I missed everything. I'm the most upset that I could have fucking skipped that one part with the spikes. Oh my God I spent a whole ass hour on just that part
At that tunnel with spikes the distances are made so that you don't have to do anything but press your dash button. The trick is to find the *spot* at the beginning from which to go. Placing myself where the background wall begins always helps me (just don't use the damn sharp shadow)
There are three charms which help give you more tries. Grubsong: get soul for being hit, Deep Focus: double heal (these mean you can almost perfectly heal every two hits) and Hiveblood (regen the last point of damage if you remain undamaged for a time). If you want to pogo (bounce off things) then longnail/mark of pride can help.
This pained me to watch because I'm a speed runner and I always take do the skips in the White Palace. In fact, the first time I have ever went through the white palace was after I watched Windette's video and I knew all the skips so I have never seen the regular path witch I find hilarious.
