What a great concert. Hard to believe but it was their first gig at Barcelona....and so was mine! I watched the show not so close as you but not far, 12th row... Thanks for the sharing....
Three friends and I listened to Tommy from beginning to end... several times the week it came out. It Still holds up as an absolutely incredible work. If they had never done another thing, that Album would have secured their place in Music History.
Pete Townshend, one of the best song writers ever. I would have loved to see you all in your hey days with Keith and John. Roger can sing but he is nothing without his legendary band!
Im going to see these guys for the umpteenth time next month. Great to know that Roger & pete are still bang on the money and still GREAT as 2 out 4 of THE WHO!
It would’ve been a lot better if the spoiled clowns in the front rows would’ve been paying attention to the band instead of talking the entire time. How rude AND disrespectful to the band and the audience.
@@LoyalOpposition Not helped by having to use an electronic kit with The Who these days (to keep stage volume to a minimum). Dynamics sound a bit flat to me, as a result - but still an awesome drummer.
O M G ! Roger just turned 80 years old…. AND Damn he’s Still Smoking Hot..! These 2 are So Competitive they vowel to out live the other. I LOVE THESE TWO MEN! ❤️🤍💙⬆️
Just amazing. How wonderful! And who on earth gave free tickets to those youngsters in the front row who obviously did not pay attention and did not even have respect enough to shut up?
Give credit to the Rolling Stones. Their tour in 2021 jump started a dead battery due to the pandemic. It would bring touring back to life. These guys were dead in the water. Leave it to the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band in the history of the world to put the train back on the tracks. “Start Me Up” I’ll never stop. And we don’t want you to.
I love The Who.... But that was was pretty embarrassing.... Yeah... it's a phone job.... But the cracks are all there. Love you Roger et al...... But give it up. See you at the next railway exhibition....eh? And..... Thanks... a million of thanks... for that music. Forever. Love you.
Other than the 1982 tour when have they previously said that's the last one? Even this tour isn't being promoted as the last, they've just said they don't know how long they'll be able to manage it going forward.
I fucking love these guys, but nah this isn't great. I saw them in 2000 / 2002 and they kicked ass. Roger looks bored, Pete has never looked less animated.
Entwistle was Boys Brigade as a youngster. He was incredibly proficient at trumpet, flugelhorn & French Horn before picking up a bass. The horns are an integral element of The WHO’s compositions.
The WHO llc died sadly in the late 70s after "WHO are You" was released...imo;this incarnation of The WHO is nothing more than a cover band of The WHO songs..
