Hi Jim - sunny out here - can’t beat a bit of the ‘orrible ‘oo! Now what tales have you tucked away about them? Lunch with Moony - now that’s one to hear! ❤take care - favourite Who single is Substitute or The Seeker depending on my mood !
I don't have this or any of the Who Compilation albums. I have most of the tracks except Substitute. I Can See For Miles is one of their best from The Who Sell Out album. The Who are strange in that they didn't have many studio albums compared to how long they have existed. One of the best is their first album. It's really great sounding on CD in Mono. I have the 2 disc Deluxe CD of the first album and it's not as good in stereo.
@@jimwood1968CDcollectorCAVE I have the single disc reissue of Sell Out, plus the 2 disc set, the deluxe box and the 1/2 speed master vinyl. I paid about £85.00 for the deluxe version. The book is amazing quality. Hardback with thick quality gloss pages. The Peter Townshend Demos are very good. I've heard the PT Demos for Quadrophenia on Streaming. Such a shame they were only included on the deluxe version as a lot are songs not included on the final release. I was also a bit peeved when ordering the singles cd set at a 50% reduction at £25.00. It would not work for me. I logged out and back in and it had gone back up to £50.00.
