@dnm72863 Late 1970 would be correct. I actually got to see the set for this show when I took a tour of the NBC studios as a kid in early 1973, shortly before it ended. This would be a very interesting game show to bring back, I'm surprised no one has thought of that.
they were annoucing the date of the car conest was mar26th i assume that this was in 1971 and it was on a friday witch was my frist brithday how about that
NBC-TV. For most of it's run, it was broadcast at 12:30 P.M. Eastern time and in many cities, it aired back-to-back with the original "Jeopardy!". In some East Coast cities, "Jeopardy!" preceded the "3W's" at 12 Noon; in cities where the local NBC station carried a local noon newscast, the "3W's" was on first at 12:30 with "Jeopardy!" at 1 P.M.
