I am sure many came here to find out if Daltrey is really truly saying f-ck in the lyrics. According to Wikipedia: The song is unusual in that it contains two instances of the word "fuck"-at 2:16 and 5:40 (at 2:14 and 4:27 in the single edit version)-yet has been played frequently in its entirety on rock radio stations. So the answer is yes he says it at least twice.
Thank you for making this song... Lol thank you for making this song because at my school we do a mask scoot reader and we play this song and everyone is dancing, singing the song, having the time if their life❤❤❤ Including me lol love this song 🎵🎵🎵
It's from The Kids Are Alright - the "normal" version you're probably used to hearing on the radio (but uncensored) plays during a slideshow if you complete a quiz called "It's Hard". This version plays during the main film at some point; however in the real film it is at the normal pitch and somehow there is no foul note at 3:38/3:39.
this has a different (and vastly inferior) vocal track to the original. Listen to the vocals on the verses and compare with the official version. Not the same grunt and conviction as in the final product. Listen and compare the way he sings "hiccup" "got to be another way" (no emphasis on the word "GOT"). It must be a demo vocal, sounds like he's still reading the lyrics and running through with it. Who would want to hear this, when you've got the full majesty of the final product. If I am wrong, then this must have been uploaded at a slightly different speed, which alters the vocals and renders them inferior. Please check out the proper version and compare the two.
No, you are right this is a demo. Check out the choppy punch-in at 3:04 and then the drums run over the bar anyhow..lol. They made some pretty well produced demos while working out the songs. I like the roughness and the lack of the huge phased organ effect dominating the mix; it's not as grand as the master version, but it's got a little more rock and roll grit.
2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. John 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

You call this a lyric reveal??? First, you don't use the original from the album, then you completely omit the third set of lyrics!!! I'll bet Keith Moon is turning over in his grave
