What a crazy week, after getting out of isolation, two days later the whole ship went under quarantine which extended my quarantine for 16 days! It was crazy being on the ship for that long but there would be no other ship in the world I would want to be stuck on. Semester at sea has activities for us to do such as bingo night, yoga, virtual classes and more that we could do in our cabins. It was so crazy we only were aloud out of our rooms for 40 minutes at a time for meals but we made the best of it and here is the Vlog to show it all!

I was at Navy bootcamp during the first lockdowns in 2020 and was quarantined for over two months. It was horrible and we didn’t have a window or anything so I feel your pain!

Oh my gosh, I can’t even imagine not having a window, some of the kids on our voyage have inside rooms without them and they said it sucked.

How often do you run into rough water? Do you feel the boat move a lot? I’ve been on a few cruises so I don’t really get sea sick, but I’m guessing you get into some bad weather when you’re on the ship for months.

When we were in the Mediterranean it was NOTHING compared to the pacific, you get used to it after a couple days at sea but the pacific knocked us around so bad

@@Htxari it doesn’t! Intranet is different than internet, the intranet only lets us send messages on this website and access a couple of approved websites to do school work

This is probably why I wouldn’t go on semester at sea while covid still occurring. Just feel like it’s a lot of money to be quarantined a lot of the time. But I hope you are able to make the best out of it!!

I totally get that, it is still the most amazing experience of my life thus far we are definitely having to do way more then the other voyages though to stay safe and keep it afloat :)
