The whole process of installing Hall sensor joystick on ps5 controller. 

I was able to get this to work, but its definitely not easy. Why is it necessary to drag solder between pads like this? That could have been built into the board. Just make both a ps4 and ps5 version so its easier to install. And please consider making the board slightly larger. You need to not cover up the haptic connection pads. You should leave a hole in the board to access these. And you have tiny surface mount resistors very close to the holes for the joystick pins. Twice i accidentally melted off the resistors and had to repair them. You meed more open space around that spot.

Anyone know where I can source high tension springs that are compatible with these thumbsticks?

Hello, do you have the yellow hall joysticks with the boards for ps5? On the aliexpress site I only see the blue one with the boards :)

Jun Zeng, what do you mean by damping? Are you referring to the spring tension on the stick movement?

Hi there! I installed the hall effect on both of my controllers, just like u showed us it ran smooth and perfectly! Today however, the left stick seemed to be stuck, it got "stuck" on left all the way. Faulty hall effect I thought, so I replaced it but still maximum left input signal, adjusting didn't work, resetting the controller does not work either... That happened on both controllers. Any idea why? Cheers!
