Thanks for the video! Really liked the framework you describe with the core cards and then plan B and support :) How do you think is the deck right now? I regularly play the deck but hasn't been able to play much last two weeks
Harden Scales players assemble I have a major question! Does The One Ring fit in this archetype? I get that it is a plan b, but I am very doubtful that it is where the deck should be. It is a powerful card that wins on its own, but it seems like it is far off base from plan b. Harden Scales can be slow and a 4 mana artifact that doesn't immediately progress the game plan seems bad even with the addition of phyrexian tower. The One Ring is bad against non ring decks like prowess for being too slow, and probably being bad against ring decks for not being able to protect it or not securing a lock on the game fast. I would love to hear from you guys on this topic, because I just feel like the ring in scales is just too lost in the sauce.
Hello! This is a long topic but in general the ring is very good when you are dealing with very grindy games. Specially post board cards like wrath of the skies, brotherhoods etc can make it hard to just trade resources so then the ring can really be a great way to get back into the game. It is also another angle of attack and it has never been easier to cast it earlly with Phyrexian tower, drum and gemstone caverns. Might make a video all about ring one daY!
