Does it come with all the classic animators and (high effort) content creators who got screwed over by youtubes monotization policy? I want to relive the old days when Harry Partridge and Egoraptor actually made cartoons.
This video is actually much deeper than it appears, the choir hymn that plays during Derrick's sales pitch is called "Eternal Father, Strong To Save", which is referring to Shawn's role as a Dad(or Father if you will) which he will be forever and eternally. And "Strong To Save" refers to the fact that Rocco could have saved a lot of money(and maybe, his eternal soul) if he had simply bought the Wii U and Nintendo Switch regularly from stores or ebay, and had been stronger and not immediately bought that which he desires the moment it appears to him. It's truly a lesson to us all, thank you Mega64.
toadfan64 For a channel that's over a decade old, they've still managed to remain relevant. Their humor seems to appeal more to the 20-30 crowd rather than children and teenagers, and they make actual skits rather than pump out "funny reaction let's play part 8" videos all the time. Compare this to other, more "modern" youtubers, whose audience is much younger (aka people who have a lot of free time to invest in watching others play games for half an hour every day), and the connection seems obvious. As a side note: I'm not shitting on any kind of youtuber and audience, to each his thing.
Their agenda runs contrary to the plans of the Illuminati, so they have limited the masses ability to keep mega 64 within their conscious awareness in order to spread the word. We must fight back against this globalist programming!
Plaguesworth Screw you dingbat! That's what I wanted to say, but I knew I had to take a short scroll before finding a doofus stealing my stuff! Not good bro, not good....
Oh trust me, I totally agree. I feel largely the same way about most "HD Remaster" games when they are only a few years old, are full price, and don't include DLC.
Ano Nony I'd say that the classic consoles are a lot like the 2DS, they're not for most people that play video games. They NES classic is for children and people that are so rich and/or don't understand ROMs that also have nostalgia for the NES.
All jokes aside I thought that this was a really good satirical lens in which to view this craze that people have for these "classic" consoles. I can understand wanting to own a collectors item but the ridiculous amounts of money that people are paying for these artificially "rare" systems just to play games that are easily emulatable is insane. Add to the fact that in all reality you're probably not going to be even playing each game for more than a couple hours makes the whole thing a waste of money.
Empty Truths The consoles are cute, but I'd rather save money and buy all those games on VC on my Wii U. Starfox 2 is exciting, but I've seen people who've played it say it isn't really that good.
Empty Truths yeah I'm the kind of guy that will collect it if I get it on pre-order if not ...oh well. I do want to mod it to play every single snes game though
I'll probably have to reconsider in a few hours, but given the nature of faddish toys, perhaps there should be a test of who desires a NES/SNES Classic versus for those suffering from FOMO. If only so that it would lower the risk of scalpers and help to determine those who actually care about such devices helping to preserve video game awareness/history.
"Do you care?" "No, but-" And that sums up the classic games fanbase completely. When is the last time you ACTUALLY went back and played an SNES game, for real? Just get roms if you want to experience playing that game once just to say you did it.
The timing and delivery on "WHATS A WII U?!" absolutely killed me; I look like an idiot trying to stifle a laugh around my coworkers in the break room right now.
Oh man, glad to see Reggie again in one of your videos! so cool he was down to work with you guys again, even if its just a little cameo. Such a down to earth guy!
bit of a plot hole, shaun says hes heard of the wii u but then in the next scene he owns one, like why would he own one if he says hes only heard of it implying he dosent know much about it
I've had my 1st gen nintendo wii homebrew'd since 2009 with literally EVERY SINGLE nes, snes, master system, genesis, gameboy, gameboy color, and gameboy advance game.
