Hmm, a wild woman in my life...I think it's me! I was very open about going through menopause. During hot flashes if someone asked me if I was OK I'd say, "Oh, occasionally I have hot flashes as I'm going through menopause." Ironically, men were way more understanding. When I officially completed menopause I toasted myself with champagne and passed my menstrual products to younger friends (donating to a homeless shelter would have also been an option). I'm very proud about my transition and feel liberated by all the benefits of not having a monthly period. I accept the title of crone. I've earned it!!!
I am rereading Clarrissa's book right now. It is like I never read it a first time. My dreams are dishing up so many inner personalities to integrate consciously. I am looking at my life since the first read , 25+ years. I. notice the dulling of myself wild self over the years as I stand , now at 65. So it is my effecting now to come back to Wildness, to JOY> I am happy you are sharing this fine awareness with others. Thankyou, Bright Spark!
Oh hey, it’s me, a fellow Wild Woman. I’ve been identifying with this archetype for years. I used to describe it as a kid when I didn’t have the right language for how I felt. Wild Women are a spark of life that don’t conform and are truly authentic. I’m proud to be part of this tribe ❤️
We all have all the archetypes… depending on where we are at in our life journey, what lesson we are supposed to be learning, we will have one archetype expressing itself the most.
Thank you! Mmmmm such a good video for gaining self awareness and for finding those areas of our lives where we might need to focus on living with more wildness 🐺💗
When she started to describe the old version of a wild woman, bag slung over one shoulder a guitar on the other, long hair wind blowing- missed one thing. Riding a Harley Sportster. Yep, I survived. Thank the Lord. Wild doesn’t come close. Well I’m all grown up fifty years later. Wouldn’t get on motorcycling if you paid me. Not much else has changed, except I know now who I always was, and was not changed. Hopefully wiser. You nailed it! TY
Unfortunately I haven't met number of wild women in my life. But my best friend, who I'm always proud of, is my hero. I wanna be like her, and be the inspiration for others.
we have been wild women in one part of our lives and we are wild women when we feel our strongest and if we are in touch with our gut, in our most inner self...we are all wild women...
