That was one of the most impressive things I've ever witnessed in any game. That pile of cards makes it look like you beat the game with a bunch of twigs and tissue paper in lieu of weapons and armor. I couldn't stay focused just watching the reptomancer and heart fights, I don't know how you kept your concentration for the whole 3 hour ordeal. What a well-deserved world record!

yeah...but on the other hand in the heart fight at the end basically every attack (multi or big attack) came at the right time to be blockable...so at least in that last fight the luck was back on his side :)

I stopped playing StS regularly a few months ago, and have been watching Jorbs' vids less frequently as a result. That said, I'm so impressed with the streak and this run. The way Jorbs is able to use his GTO-fueled thinking to make a lost run into a world record win is inspiring.

It may be 3 hours, but this is my absolute favourite run of Slay the Spire. Its just insane. If you havent seen it I recommend you watch the whole 3 hours. Its a nailbiting journey.

Man... Same reason I'll never be amazing at chess. I don't have the patience to agonize over decisions the way you do. Very impressive stuff though, kudos! Just got into this game and am loving it! Edit: Of course, if I was somehow on a streak, I might actually have the motivation to be more OCD about optimizing instead of just making quick decisions and taking the loss rogue-like style ;)

1:41:46 was the perfect turn to “work out” his 1 too many health problem also on 3:01:03 I get the feeling he’s not going for defend (13 block) stack (9 block) then amplify. Playing 3 cards he takes 9 block from beat putting him at 13 block so 2 procs of static 15x8 of damage. Down side to this is he draws less. Regardless I’m sure he wins
