The Wind River Grind, Spring Chinook Fishing with one of my sons was a struggle at 1st but we got it done in the 4th quarter. Shortbus Flashers and Prawn Rigs. Got the job done! My sons 1st Chinook of his life and a memory that will last forever!

This brings me back to when my dad took me out kokanee fishing as a kid and when my grandpa and grandma would bring me out on lower Columbia. Caught some really big kings, after those few years i was hooked couldn’t stop fishing.

Way to go Nash! Is your boat 15.5' I like fishing out of a skiff more then bigger boats. Skiffs don't put out a huge shadow like those big sleds, and that 25hp sips the gas that's nice. I fish lingcod with the same size boat and motor and love it!🎣

Yes it was last thursday! The regs say the main Channel of the columbia are closed certain fisheries are side channels of the columbia and have there own regulations!
