Wow..Pay attention kiddies! Actual rock music with a guitar and bass solo! And a video with band members in it rather than a lead singer in costume & makeup riding around in a jacked up car with 24's!.....And a Tele to boot!....Impressive!......
Cornell has been around long before 94. I was listening to Soundgarden since 89. Anyone who played back then worth there weight knew about Chris. They both KICK ASS!! Wish I could copy either one.
I accidently stumbled upon this song while trying to figure out how to use the computer in my new car! Well its a 2010 but its new to me. This song is absolutely awesome, I love it. Just good old straight up rock and roll which you don't hear a lot of these days, at least not sounding this good! Very addictive tune!
We already know he is a legend on the drums, no surprises there. But it takes real professionalism to migrate from prog metal to simpler rock and roll. A true musician indeed.
The more I listen, the more I like. You can really hear RK's jazz influence in the lead. Some nice and tasty riff duets with Billy dusted around.....EXCELLENT. I'm understanding what these guys are after now. RK has that universal rock sound that appeals to greater masses. Billy and Mike are just supporting his talent to produce something more commercial..... and yet this gig gets their nut with some clever playing. a chance to show-off their vocals and the opportunity for airplay.
I've been a Richie Kotzen fan since he appeared on Poison's Native Tongue album. He is one of many rockers out there whom are overlooked by the masses that tend to follow what's fed to them on radio/media top 40.
