Like a small towns local tale/legend, and if the witch brings you a gift, don't open it. Then come up with about an hour and half of creative ways to kill the cast off.
I think people forget, it's not all about how easy or complex the actual trick is. It's about the whole act. This remains one of my favourite BGT acts of all time and the acting and commitment to the role is great.
Lots of appreciation for Penn. He's enjoying the show to it's fullest. He sees and appreciates all the illusions and efforts involved in making the show what it is, and he sits and applauds the Witch for their excellent efforts. Fantastic show.
Its why Fool Us was a great show they would talk about how ya they might know the trick but sometimes they got totally stumped prime example is Shin Lim dude came on twice and just crushed it every time
Still watching. Lots So far for me this act involving so different aspects than nobody did in past The acting is understanding Stike for TV show and or series
This witch is amazing. I especially love when he fires back at the judges when they try to get smart with him. I would love for him to do a full performance. I would pay money just to watch him.
Apart from the disgust factor probably the best magic act in my opinion on BGT, it's not only creative and done so well, but also the added creepiness and horror makes you at the edge of your seat wanting to see more. Brilliant.
2:57 The Witch has grown tired of the judges’ impudence from the second performance and now roasts them when they try to disrespect the performance, which is a great touch, I think.
The Witch is actually my buddy. 😂 LOL. I'm not going to ruin it and give him away, but he said during the act to the actual performance they added additional sound effects for the viewers experience. None the less, if I didn't know he was in the show I wouldn't have guessed it. The make-up is superb and the fella has a great humour. Always could keep his face straight lol.
what an act.. what a presence... what a character... brilliant performer.. his voice.. his movements.. the way that he took revenge and roast the judges... everything was stunning
@@Oneisenough22 I know he was on Britain's Got Talent but not AGT. I can research it though. I think Hottwheels is meaning she'd like to actually see him perform live (she's my real life bff) 🥰
The Witch is totally mesmerizing in its delivery, acting, production, and imagination. Demands your attention from start to finish. Awesomely clever act!
The more you get older, the more you realise this show is more about performance rather than about actual talents and skills. This isn't about who wins BGT, it's about making an interesting TV show while making the audience amazed.
The tricks were really hard as well, he predicted the word penn was thinking, and got each of the gifts right. That’s not an easy force, ofc probably penn figured it out but for me I’m clueless how he did that
Dude is brilliant. Superb acting and improv. Great ideas and use of props is magnificent. He's believable and natural. Haven't seen him since his first appearance. So glad I caught this!
He was less talkative with the judges and was harsher now, he had to adapt because of how much they were goofing around the previous time. I wish he had people who would work with him in a way that would allow him to go through the act in a manner that he jad planned. Really appreciate the dedication of his performances.
That's beyond "magic" trick. This is a whole show and it's insane. Guy didn't even break character. It's just amazing. So unique. By the way, Amanda is gorgeous!
If you had noticed, the actor was more stern and told heckled the judges more especially when Ashley started to misbehave the actor scolded her, "Shut up!"
The actual tricks themselves aren't really the point and are generally pretty straightforward. Probably the biggest gamble was the mentalist priming especially as he relied on Penn for that. The point is the show, not the technical craft or the sophistication of the trick.
Amazingggg act! What the heck! The scripting reminds me a lot of French magician David Stone. Love it. Took me on a rollercoaster even though I was through a screen. Incredible and very captivating stuff. Coming from a magician, some god tier showmanship
such a phenomenal act that i don’t think even the judges can comprehend it. This guy is rewriting the meaning of a witch since we knew Gargmel in the smurfs
I don't watch BGT, but the 3 performances of the Witch were brilliant. The whole performance from start to finish held your attention, had you on the edge of your seat wondering what was going to happen. I feel sorry for Amanda as the few videos i have seen always seem to go for her, that 'Elizabeth' springs to mind. It would have been interesting to see what the Witch could have come up with next, from the videos on here i would have thought he would have got to the final. Would be fantastic if he comes back again, as so many others do.
I know Penn has said at least once he's not a huge fan of trying to make stage magic more mystical than it really is, but he's being a damn good sport about it here. Just watching him sit and smile while everything goes to hell in a handbasket around him is hilarious.
I don't know what quote you're referring to but I imagine, from what I know about Penn, that he was likely talking about magicians either trying to make stage magic religious in some way or trying to sell it as real or something else like that. I would need the actual quote and what it's from to know what he actually meant. The Witch's performance in no way falls under these two categories. Also the stage magic of this performance is arguably not even the focal point, it's about the performance and the acting itself, although the magic is obviously good as well.
The biggest question is... DID THEY FOOL PENN ???🤣 The judges curiously chose the colour card that was placed at the front... Penn chosing the word "chaos" looked convenient. I'd say the judges were in on the act except Amanda. Maybe that's why it didn't wow them enough for a win.
