Well he actually is a well known actor and also a magician.

The witch in the semi-final had poor voice projection and diction. It was difficult to understand him, even the judges were squinting their eyes when listening to him and he was just across the table. Was quite uncomfortable to watch for that reason alone...

People downplay how difficult it is to perform this type of theatrical act. It’s seriously impressive.

I agree. He's so good at maintaining his emotions even though things were not going exactly his way. People were making fun of him and at the same time they talked so much plus uncontrolled side comments. I don't think the final round will be favorable for him (the witch). I agree with you 100%. The judges kill half of his performance, which is still good but would have been brilliant just like his 1st one was. If he reaches the final he must find a way to deal with them, they are a huge problem: maybe avoid interaction with them is best at this point.

The problem with these types of shows is that the judges believe that they are the reason people watch.

Aside from those points you've made you could also look at it from another perspective. The judges are poking and prodding in order to test the level of performance and talent. The fact that this person kept character and remained composed with their jokes is a testament to their talent. The judges were testing that talent. If this show were to win and go to Vegas then the person doing this act would need to be prepared for any situation because they would be dealing with a completely new audience every time.

Unpopular opinion: I feel that giving the judges and opportunity to joke and laugh was the fault of the performer, not controlling the state of the act well enough. Personally felt a bit draggy… it’ll be a lot cooler if all the judges fears came, not just the rat.

I was in the Audience, David laughed at one point (but I'm gonna be honest I laughed before he did cause of the way the witch was speaking ab fear) right which caused a chain of laughter, which you can see in the video so idk why I just relayed it to you haha. So in conclusion; it could have been more creepy if it wasn't for the continuous jokes made . The act was really good, I couldn't see it very well though cause I was sitting at the very top.

The sad truth is that this didn't even reached the finals. Comedy is OK but this kind of act is incomparable.

As judges they should know better, if anything you need to hire a different judge. If your "judge" can't grow a pair of balls and understand the witch is there to perform an act and not literally kill you, how are scary act supposed to get anywhere on this show. I understand humour is used as a coping mechanism, but if that person is a judge on a talent show and they resort to that coping mechanism, they need to understand that by doing so, it's taking away from the act, and that is utter disrespect.
