The Ferjoel the fight can be make more difficult by making enemy same level as us. I fought them at level 60 plus where all my equipment is at level 34. They can straight murder me in 2-3 hit but it feels great when I defeat them.
Imlerith: Who tought u to fight like this. Geralt: Joe Imlerith: What? Who's Jo... Geralt: YO MOMMA LOSER! **Procceeds to burn Imlerith helmet and his head on the proccess**
Toad Prince was extremely easy with Golden Oracle(Better if it is a Superior quality). Loved to have his poison sprayed all over me, basically heals me now.
After fighting as Ciri, and finally knowing Geralt was frozed. The moment of him breaking the ice was epic moment for me. And the amazing music only topped it off. Loved Witcher 3. Mass effect and Witcher are the only RPG game I ve ever completed.
I really wish they had his hair softer, if that makes any sense. More like Eskel's haircut. Thus cut makes Geralt look like an anime fanboy trying too hard to be cool
Cara this is such an interesting character with his past of being almost bred like an animal by Avallach to be the perfect mage and then him rejecting that fate by joining the wild hunt, honestly I wish the whole wild hunt got more screen time so they could be more than just having the motivation of they’re bad because they’re evil.
@@yourdarknessawaits3895 lol why yall like caramthir so much? His screen time was like 10 min but I like that I am not the only one that can be interested in minor characters in a story.
@@user-pn5ej4fe2h he’s probably the strongest member of the wild hunt, he would have wrecked Geralt like he did to eskel if ciri didn’t wound him. Would have loved to see him humble the lodge.
Actually It makes sense because Eridan was fighting because he enjoyed it so he had no problem in prolonging the fight. but geralt didn't want to fight then. he wanted to find Siri and Eridan was just an obstacle he had to get rid of so he took the quickest way to finish him
Sully Hirsch of course, but i think the wild hunt generals had honor in combat, eredin giving Crach his axe back, eredin and caranthir could have killed geralt while he was frozen in the battle of kaer morhen but chose to walk by him instead, imlrith talked about how bravely geralt fought in the battle of kaer morhen, so i wouldn't call them total assholes.
Mohd saleel I didn't say the wild Hunt doesn't have honor I only explained why geralt didn't give Eridan his sword back. And besides it's easy to be honorable when you think you're winning
Caranthir needed to summon elementals and to use teleportation (both against Ciri and Eskel), Eredin used his black magic fuckery -- And they still got humbled. Imlerith was the only one I even remotely respected as a foe, and he was damn scary - I mean, the dude killed Vesemir. And Vesemir is a badass. Plus, the way Geralt kills Imlerith is SOOOO much more satisfying than any of the others. That last cutscene with him showed just how awesome both him and Geralt are.
Well of course they used their powers to win. That's like telling Geralt to not use potions and signs. Caranthir did a shit ton of stuff and carried the Hunt. He was also the closest one to kill geralt
I get that the game is 7 years old but you might wanna put a spoiler warning on this, the Netflix series has brought a lot of new people to the books and games, and even a new next gen update confirmed by CDPR.
@@wolfx.2546 this “fucking cringe” was well fucking commented considering they got a bunch of new players from the next gen version you utter scallywag
I don't know about anyone else, but I think Caranthir was the biggest nuisance of the Wild Hunt. He's a mage, so basically he has full teleportation abilities, can call upon monster fodder to fight for him, throw attacks from a distance, fire ice bombs, can use 'kung-fu-esque' combat skills with his staff, and when leading the rest of the Wild Hunt freezes everything and everyone around him, rendering them powerless to do anything against him. It's kind of annoying that the only one who could tango with him without being affected by the white frost was Ciri- and by damaging his staff could allow Geralt to fight him.
Yes it was very annoying. Reading through the books it seems that giving the bad guys way too op things and than struggling to find solutions to them is very much on brand for the series. I guess it's also just a problem with Ciri having very hack n slash gameplay that doesn't feel very polished so that boss wasn't very satisfying to beat and afterwards with Gerald it's just question if you can outheal the boss while constantly running towards him across half the arena, so yeah. I don't think it's much of a stretch to say that the endgame is very much rushed.
So did the developers change their mind and decide to make Eredin go from Geralt's arch enemy to just some egomaniac who overestimates his own skills? He doesn't come off that well when he's two generals come closer to killer Geralt than he did.
dragonstormx Well Eredin is never really that amazing a fighter to begin with. He's just an elf commander, nothing more. In fact, he even gets his ass handed to him by sixteen year old Ciri in their first fight.
dragonstormx I think the thing is that Imlerith used a giant fucking mace and tower shield to keep from having a real duel, while Imlerith teleported and used magic. Eredin just tried to beat Geralt in a swordfight, and NOBODY beats Geralt in a swordfight.
Dettlaff van der Eretein Being that guy, *technically* Vilgefortz kicked his ass with a staff and a fuckton of enhancing spells. And his mercenary training. But yeah, Vilgefortz kicked Geralt’s ass in CQC. But then, so did a pitchfork. Such is life in the Witcherverse.
probably because they are the same hulking imposing figure covered in steel, that use their sheer power to dominate and eradicate everything in their way. regardless of relative power. LOTR canon has powers and individuals that are far more powerful than anything in the witcher lore so you cant fairly compare their relative power.
Only hard bosses in the game are Frog Prince (who is broken) Detlaff (who doesn't telegraph and alters his attack path) and Olgierd (the only decent swordsman enemy in the game.) Oh, and that damn Ofieri wizard.
TimeTrnr for all of them I had the skill that negated all damage taken while dodging which was a huge help, at that point all the fights are just dodge timing and kinda trivialized them
Wish you could loot Imlerith's body. That big ass hammer looked pretty damn sweet. Not exactly the type of weapon a witcher would use but neither is shovel
You first! Then those bitches of the Lodge! Not gonna lie, would have loved to have seen Caranthir smash Philippa's head in: Eilheart got off far too lightly...
I think it's a little strange he chose to dodge in circles to try to attack from behind. He only landed half of the hits since Imlerith was just spinning with him. Aard has many purposes, one of those is to stagger enemies with shields. Stop making your life harder, and start using Aard.
I was really levelled for most encounters like these in the game and literally felt bad because I was using a broken alchemy build and just chunking the bosses.
Also, legendary demon or no, having to wear a helmet that’s just like, just tight/small where it’ll stay in place without any straps or anything, and than Geralt burns him. Imagine how much of him is still inside of that helmet. 😧
wait silver sword ? i though they are mostly people that are overly build and dabble in magic, or does silver sword also work against witches and mage ? i would guess it be a steel sword with a high armor pierce that will do effective against it
Non of these bosses were difficult. They were good. Well Imlerith maybe a bit less because you defeat him just to early but non of the Witcher bosses/enemies are difficult. They should have made something like hidden bosses.
Just use the alternate quen sign and keep holding it when he teleports and attacks, you will regain your hp and he will tire out and you can kill him that was so easy :D Most satisfying kill eva !
I just felt normal to Carathir and Eredin fights but I felt hatred, anger and bloodthirsty when I fought with Imelerith. I slowed down the fight because I was enjoying to see him suffering. Does this mean I'm a psycho?
So I did imlerith on blood and broken bones, which is easy enough. Now, the problem was, I had stashed all my other equipment and used the gear level requirement down potion for the kaer morhen battle. I did that fight without upper body armor. My other armor was very low level. Very fun tho, you just die in 2 hits
