He's not a coward lol. Thats like sayimg yen is a coward for using magic insteaf of fighting. This man is just a beast and to be fair, if it weren't for Geralt's plot armor and villain logic he would've won. He could easily have thrown geralt off the cliff when he was choking him. Or he could easily have snapped his neck just like he did to vesemir. Its unrealistic how he has the physical strenth to snap someone's neck singlehandedly and then isn't able to do it with both hands

No, he was literally a pushover. I played him on that "death march" difficulty and boy does the whole game become easy once you learn how to use [parry]+[tapping the Alt button] combo. Also learn how to negate arrows (parry in timing, arrows are slow)

If you ask me, when we got Caranthir we essentially crippled the Wild Hunt. Caranthir is without a doubt the most important member of the team, cause without Caranthir the Wild Hunt would've never even traversed dimensions and would just be a bunch of rebel elves not a feared phantom group.

I think Caranthir's is critically the best, though I prefer listening to Imlerith's. Eredin has the best battle music.

First time, it was nightmare; NG+, I wears bear school, easy! I found that carenthir is most difficult even with bear. I later learnt that running around is the best dodging technics.

For me the only one I had trouble on DM is caranthir. But all you gotta do is learn the pattern of attacks.

Eredin was the leader, not a general or warrior of the hunt. It makes sense that he was little bit weak.

That is the standart Wild Hunt sword. Eredin used that but Imlerith was too buff so a sword wasn't enough for that Letho arms under that fricken heavy armor.

He's pretty easy, just dodge and attack, same as any enemy really

yeah, hes fun but hes super slow, honestly the hardest boss was iris' nightmare when you attack them all at once lol

The 1v1 fights are actually easy in game. The hardest fights in the game are ones where you have to fight a group (yes I’m looking at you drowners). I had more issues with the sisters as ciri than imlerith by far

He took me two tries. The first try he literally hadn't touched me a single time, and then when he had maybe 3 or 4 hits left I flubbed a dodge during one of his teleports and ate the entire combo. Might have survived if Quen had been active but I hadn't bothered to cast after the fight started because he just couldn't touch me. It just added to my hatred for this guy, I deleted him in the rematch. Still never got the acorn...

That's the general theme for the Wild Hunt, its called "The Hunt Is Coming". Eredin and Imlerith's theme are just modified versions of The Hunt Is Coming.

Did you have level scaling on? Were you using the glutton perk? (food regenerates health for 20 minutes) This fight was among the easiest when I fought him in my first save on normal, not sure what to expect on my second and Death march

I was worried more about Djin fight on Death March... its fucking sick oneshoting me on every mistake ))

@@joesheridan9451 the greatest fear is only hard if you wake up every single one of the ghosts. If you tackle them one on one, it's a breeze regardless of difficulty

I fought him on death march first playthrough, no alchemy or anything like that. just signs and swords. It took a while to beat him, but I actually learned a lot from the fight and Caranthir and Eredin were super easy.

@@keaganowen5940 meh you just pop quen and dodge, he's slow hitting so when he has an opening that's when you attack. Fleet footed helps

Did 1 spin with whirlwind and just killed him there on DM. It's a shame. Now that was on 2nd playthrough. Of'course on the first ever attempt, I died like a bitch 10 times xD. But yeah whirlwind is OP, so much so that I reccomend not taking it. This is because it makes the game boring, you become a god essentially and it takes away the aspect of thought and danger away from the rest of the game.
