Was a great episode, i loved the part where Yen thought Geralt was gonna fall and she and Jask started to move to him to help and he then told them to get back and when they were in the tent and she said i feared the mountain would take you from me. She also hinted at it when she told Geralt he left first. Great break down, keep them comming.

I didn't care for this show until I watched your review of episode 3. Once I realized that I was witnessing 3 different timelines, I realized what was going on😆. Great review, love how you interact with your subscribers.

This was a great episode, but so far, in my opinion, nothing compares to the town fight scene in episode 1.

I think the way it works is that the doppelganger has access to the memories, but that doesn't transform them mentally into that person. He could consult Mousesack's memories inside his head and find out the truth, but in the heat of the moment, dealing with question after question, it's probably more difficult than it sounds. If the heat's on, he most likely would have to wing it a bit. So that's why he can answer questions wrongly - no one operates at their best under pressure, and the answers to Ciri's questions are probably buried deep in memories that wouldn't exactly be sitting on the surface of his thoughts.

When they woke up you missed a glorious detail of geralt saying good morning, and yennifer taking a few moments to process it in, then turns her head and smiles with true happiness

I just need to vent over this love story. There's no reason after one encounter of helping Yennifer and having sex that after all this time they're deeply in love. All they've described is lust and euphoria. It's like watching a badass character step into a cheesy romance movie where after just a few meetings they're desperately in love. It makes it hard to relate to the characters and is really ruining the show for me. Sorry to vent, just my opinion. Maybe there's more to their story that the show doesn't explain.

The mistake they made is the fact that supposedly the Doppler once it replicates it’s victim maintains all memories and thoughts .. soooooo if this was true the Doppler would be able to answer all of ciris questions without a problem

This ended up being one of my favorite episodes so far from the 1st season.

I really liked this episode. I didn't see anything wrong with the dragon it looked pretty cool. I think knowing the truth now will help Yennifer and Geralt come together later realizing that it is true love they feel for each other. I find that i don't care much for Ciri but i think or hope that will change. Thank you

Just finished the book...they really left out a lot. The whole dueling part with the dragon is gone. This episode was suppose to be far more interesting than it is.

When I was watching the episode I didn’t think I’d have to watch this, but then Ciri turned into a grown ass man and I realized how wrong I was. Oh and don’t forget about those people coming back from the dead.

They did a disgusting thing: they dragged Eyck van Denesle through the dirt in the most despicable way possible. In the book he was a valiant warrior with a heart of a lion, who understood the difference between politics and human life. His beliefs took a backseat when he saved the lives of Geralt and Yennefer, he fought the dragon and was almost killed. In the Netflix series he is a pathetic and childish laughing stock. Obviously Hissrich and Brandstroem see him as an enemy, and hence smeared his name.

When referencing the sex scenes with Geralt and Yennefer please say "make love"

This was easily one of the best episodes by far, but that being said, I think the show gets worse as the episodes go on - I know, I know, and trust me I really want to love this show because I love The Witcher and the show *is* great for the most part, but my god it has some convoluted and piss poor writing. Episodes 1 - 3 were great, episode 4 was the first time I realized the show had some bad writing even though I loved the story, episode 5 was alright, *episode 6 was the fucking best by far* with some of the most lovable characters and episode 7 was the absolute worst and most laughable, save for the ending. All I have left is episode 8, and I really hope it picks back up. Aside from the sometimes mediocre writing, my only other complaints are Geralt's eyes literally being zombie contacts 😒 and Anya Chalotra... yes, she's a great actress, but I can't help but feel like she should be at least 10 years older for the part of Yen, though maybe that's because I'm used to Yen looking more my age (mid/late thirties) in The Witcher 3, and I understand the show isn't based on the games, but Chalotra looks 13 years old to me. Sorry, I'm spilling all my gripes here, they've just been pent up and I thought I'd write them here among fellow Witcher fans while they were fresh on my mind. Everybody, these are just my opinions, and in no way are my opinions better or any more valid than yours. All I ask is that you respect my mine just as much as I do yours ✌ The Witcher is ultimately a great show with a great cast and I'm really hoping that season 2 irons out some of its glaring flaws. Alright, I'm done. I almost don't even want to look back at how long this comment is going to be 😆

This Episode 6 of the TV show was kind of dumb compared to the original Witcher story it was based on. In the story, the Green Dragon was actually Villentretenenmerth's mate, and she was never killed, but instead flew off to safety and left her Gold Dragon mate to guard the egg until it hatched. (But how can you have a B-grade fantasy TV story with dragons without slaying at least one of them, right?). So the hatchling (who turned out to be a female), was his daughter, and meets Geralt in a later story. Of course, it would have been a bit ridiculous for a bunch of farmers to have mortally wounded an adult dragon, but what can you expect from a fantasy TV show? In fact, the entire notion of mere humans with Medieval technology driving huge, fire breathing, magic-imbued and highly intelligent dragons "nearly to extinction" is ridiculous to anyone who actually gives the matter some consideration. If anything, it would be far easier for such dragons to drive humans "into extinction", by simply burning all of the crops and slaughtering all of the domestic animals on dark moonless nights and starving them to death. But then, this kind of dragon slaying rubbish is basically just fairy tales written to entertain ignorant children. Most thinking adults should know better.

Wow, this was WAY too detailed. We don’t need a frame by frame explanation and you included so many unimportant tidbits. Also, it’d be far more helpful if you talked through one single storyline at a time instead of using the choppy order from the show.
