Actually, the darker skin is the default/original, with lighter skin being an adaptation to absorb more Vitamin D at extreme latitudes. (Melanin blocks vitamin D absorbtion.) It doesn't really have anything to do with heat, just UV rays. You could potentially tan just as much in the winter, but you tend to wear more clothes, which prevent the exposure. (Plus, there's less daylight in the winter and the angle is more extreme.)

Fun fact; Ms. Pac Man was more popular than Pac Man. it had smoother gameplay, and was more accessible to first-time players while still being more intricate in its maze design, allowing for hardcore veteran player to really shake up their strategies to go for speed and score in vastly different ways. The maze walls were also a solid color as opposed to an outline, more clearly defining the details for the novice players, thus making more fans. It also made the veterans better able to focus on their strategy without having to double-check the layout to make sure they were on the maze they thought they were on, slowing them down, and potentially ruining their run; the solid color walls making the layout turn into mere background information that was faster and easier to process without thinking. In short, it really did appeal to just about everyone whereas regular Pac Man catered to a more focused and determined group of people, but also couldn't always satisfy that very same group who desired complexity and intricacy.

From what I've heard, you don't want to be anywhere near the big well known cities in California anyway. Los Angeles is likely too expensive for anybody who isn't obscenely wealthy to live in and San Francisco has massive problems with homelessness, public order and the bureaucratic mess they have to ensure that nothing ever gets done cause when that one random guy just wants to fuck with you and prevent you from opening your business for a year or two (potentially causing you to go bankrupt and/or deep into debt since you are technically employed, thus being ineligible for unemployment benefits despite having no income), he can. The zoning laws and bureaucracy are so bad that even with barely any grounds for a case that one asshole can keep you held up in court proceedings for months despite him clearly just having some sort of grudge against you or what you represent and being in the wrong.

Because if you see someone on the street, long hair, dress, makeup, whatever you dont determine their gender by looking at their Cromosomes or looking at their genitals, no you assume they are a woman. My biology teacher tried to convince the class that gender was a spectrum, and wrote a line with all the different chromosome deformities. She was a good teacher though an allowed us to put our own thoughts on the subject. I simply walked up to the spectrum, labeled one side as female, the other as male, and the very middle as "the one time I accept non binary." Literally only one kid agreed, lost a couple friends that day, but if they don't want to hang out with me simply because of my views I don't want to hang out with them either. Teacher disagreed but didn't make a big deal about it, cool teacher, even if we didn't see eye to eye.

If they aren't sexist but still want to pay people less, they would pay both men and women less (it would benefit them too because no one could claim they discriminate). I went there for shits and giggles, and the prof was actually pretty normal, a priest, yet some things he taught us where... weird. Up until very recently sex and gender were considered synonyms, and are in fact still considered as such by many people today. When the vast majority of people refer to a man or woman they are generally referring to biological sex, and not how that person identifies. That is why people say men can't be women and vice versa, they are referring to the person's biology and/or genetics, and that is not something that can be changed. That is a scientific fact based on all reputable knowledge of the science of biology. You can have surgery, take hormones, and do pretty much whatever you like to present as the sex/gender you would prefer to be but these changes are only cosmetic and do absolutely nothing to change a person's basic biology. And the "everything's a social construct" argument you hear oh so often from the activist crowd is merely an attempt to dodge these basic scientific facts.

If you disagree I encourage you to google conservative because that's literally what your ideology is based on. Sex and gender have always been separate, gender roles and traditions vary from culture to culture and even household to household. This implies that gender and its role in society is purely based on social norms and not "nature" as y'all argue. An example of this is how its becoming more common for men and women to collectively raise any kids and working at the same time. Or how only men really wore pants and high heels 400 years ago but now its acceptable for women to do both. These ideas were manufactured by people and none of these things are inherently genetic. And in that sense gender has always been separate from sex because gender and it's norms are ever evolving. And gender identity as in what societal roles you apply to yourself have nothing to do with sex. You can scream and cry about how the West is dying but this concept of gender addresses all of those things so it might be easier to understand why someone might not identify with the gendered role society has forced on them. Also who the fuck cares who started it the scientific consensus now is that gender is a social construct and therefore can be deconstructed without ramifications and that sex isn't binary but rather bimodel. These are the facts you can choose to live in a bubble where you're confused or you can accept this reality and live a much happier life not spending your days hating something you don't understand.

All these people thinking gender can't be bimodal, just because the things that differ from what is considered common are very rare.
